Star Dog

Star Dog is such a great place to take your dog. You can tell the staff genuinely cares and they are passionate about making sure your dog is taken care of. I take my dog Willie there for both day care and training. I’ve seen so much progress with his training, and he genuinely gets excited when I pull into the parking lot. The group classes on Saturdays are so fun- we look forward to going each week! We cannot recommend Star Dog enough.

We did the 5-day e-collar training for our 8-month old English Springer Spaniel, Alfie, and it was a fantastic experience! Jarrell did an incredible job—before training, we used to dread taking Alfie on walks, but now he walks perfectly by our side. He also learned important basic commands, with "place" being the most valuable for us. Alfie absolutely loves Jarrell, and it’s clear the entire team truly cares about the dogs they work with. Andy, Jarrell, and the whole Star Dog team are the best in the Charlotte area. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great training program. Before recommending a program, they had our dog visit the facility a few times to get a feel for his needs and get comfortable with the facility, which we really appreciated. Now, every time we head there, Alfie is beyond excited—he truly loves it. Thank you, Andy and Jarrell, for taking such great care of Alfie and setting him on the path to being a well-behaved dog!
