Star Dog Obedience

I attended a seminar hosted by Melody at her facility. I was instantly filled with envy. Her indoor facility is huge, air conditioned, and immaculately clean. She was also participating in a seminar and demonstrated her abilities with several impressive dogs ranging from show dog, to sport dog. I hope she hosts more seminars, and encourage you to seek her out if you’re looking for a dog trainer in her area.

Star Dog Obedience is absolutely amazing! Melody takes the time to carefully evaluate each and every dog, creating a personalized training plan that fits their individual needs. We first brought our puppy, Jack, to her, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle throughout the entire process. Her calm, positive approach helped him learn so much and build confidence. Now, we’ve rescued a new Shepherd who came to us very skittish and fearful of people. Melody has been working with her and is already helping her come out of her shell, gain trust, and feel safe again. It’s truly heartwarming to see the progress. This is now the third dog we’ve trained with Star Dog Obedience, and each experience has been exceptional. Melody’s knowledge, compassion, and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything she does. I wouldn’t go anywhere else — we’ll keep coming back! 🐾

Today was ANOTHER amazing day for Lady Luck Animal Rescue. I am the Adoption Coordinator for the dogs. We have sent numerous reactive dogs to Melody and her team for training. Buddy is a 1 year old German Shepherd who was extremely reactive to other dogs, making it difficult to find him a forever home. Buddy spent 1 month in Board training at Star Dog Obedience and has completely transformed into a confident, well mannered and dog friendly pet! Today, his family drove 4 hours to Melody’s to pick up their boy! We are forever grateful to the hard work and dedication that Melody and her team invest in every dog they train. If you have a dog that needs some help, I cannot say enough good things about these trainers.
