My Dog spent 4 months with Starlight Kennels and it was almost a total waste of time and big waste of money. When my dog was "finished" with them I brought him home, hunted him twice, and sent him away to another bird school. He was clearly not ready for a hunt, even though I was promised he would be. He is now thriving at a real bird dog school. Paul and Amy only present totally staged situations to their dogs. Your dog lives on a truck away from real hunting scenarios. No homing pigeons, quail, pheasant, duck, or any options other than cheap kill pigeons. Compare them to any serious kennel and its like the special olympics. I finally pulled my dog once I learned that the main trainer of my dog was a relative of the kennel owner and she had NEVER been hunting before even though I was paying full price for training. Thats a clear sign they are just going through the motions for money and not trying to develop quality hunting dogs for clients.
