Starr Dog Behavior

If I could give Joseph six stars I would! We have had an all around fantastic experience with in-home training for our 4 month old lab. Joseph has taught us how to interact with our puppy to teach him and improve his behavior. He is clearly driven to know all he can about canine behavior. At the same time he is empathetic with us and our young daughters, helping them with the dog too. His service is easy to book through an online portal which I appreciate very much.

Took my 9 month old 110lb Great Dane to Joe for a training session, 3 week board and train, and also post training boarding when I have gone out of town. Joe is super patient with both the dog and owner, he explains the dogs behavior and how what you do impacts that. He leaves the dogs personality in tact but instills all the great qualities of a well trained dog into them! Every time I take her to Joe she comes back happy, healthy, and her training reinforced. I have used the skills he has taught me to ensure her and my Older Dane are the best they can be and have seen a positive change in both dogs!

Joseph is like the dog whisperer and maybe also the human whisperer. The very first session he had my 2 year old pup behaving in a way I've never seen before and had frankly accepted as a lost cause. Joseph goes at the right pace for you and the dog to not overload you but make steady progress each week. And his approach provides a true structural change you and your dog (but mostly you) can continue on after you leave unlike other trainers. Would recommend to anyone with a rambunctious pup like mine!
