STAT K9 Training

I could not be happier with my experience at Stat K9 Training!! Tina was extremely helpful and professional from start to finish. I was really hopeless about my dog and thought there was no way to break him from the “boxer mentality”. I was wrong!! Tina’s methods and coaching helped not only teach our boxer how to behave but taught us how to lead him and teach him so that we can have a well behaved boxer for years to come. Since our experience at Stat K9 Training our dog has been so much happier and calmer. Now we can enjoy long walks or play time off leash. I would highly recommend Tina and Stat K9 training to anyone. Only thing I wish is that we found her sooner!!

One of the challenges of having a cute puppy, is the crazy puppy part! Adorable, but challenging. The main issues with my Henry was crazy lunging and jumping as he greeted people and dogs on walks, not walking straight, excessive whining, in and out of crate all day, free roaming. After a week with Tina at StatK9, a world of difference! He walks beside me on walks and sits down like such a gentlemen when we greet people. If I stop to chat, he lays down. I have received SO many compliments about what a good dog!! At home he now spends the morning and afternoon quietly in his crate....so I can get work done! He hangs on place while making/eating meals or when we need him controlled. Granted he still has his "moments" of crazy puppy, but he is ten times better and more controllable than before training. I cannot recommend Tina and StatK9 training enough! Not only was she able to train Henry, but me as well, and she keeps you updated with frequent videos and posts. She has helped to keep me sane!! :)

After researching dozens of trainers, we decided to go with Tina’s Board and Train program for our German Shepherd puppy. Tina was responsive to all of my questions and concerns, provided timely and informative updates and wow did we get results! I am so grateful to Tina and her training expertise. We are >100% pleased! The difference in our dogs behavior has been life changing for our family. It is a joy to take walks, go to the kids baseballs games and hang out by the pool. Tina’s continued expertise and guidance via access to her site is also super valuable. Her care for your dog and their well being as well as the ultimate needs of your family are her priority. Without a doubt, Highly recommend.

Tina transformed our insecure, hand-shy, anxiety-ridden dog into a HAPPY dog. We struggled so much trying to tame our golden retriever but nothing was working, we even considered rehoming him because we had no idea how to help him. I am so thankful that we came across Tina, Tina is SO knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. She gave daily updates on our pup when he was gone so we could watch his progress and prepare to continue his training at home. Chipper will never be the perfect dog- but he has come so far (we can have guests over now without excessive jumping!) Tina is a highly-skilled trainer that I will always recommend and will be returning to for boarding!

I rescued Odie one year ago. He is a 35lb Smooth Hair Fox Terrier Mix. When I adopted him, all I was told was that his owner passed away, and they separated him from his sister that he had spent the first two years of his life with. Odie is a love bug that suffered from severe separation anxiety. He loves all people but was very dog aggressive. He, like most dogs, was a beggar. He is also a runner. If he sees an opportunity to sneak away, he runs off in a flash, terrifying as he has no concept of the road and traffic. Car rides were not his favorite. He would shake, pant, and drool profusely. Walking him was almost obsolete because he was a sniffer, a marker, and barked at almost anything that moved. I have a permanent camper on the beach with over 500 other sites and many other dogs nearby. I spend May through October there, and if Odie were ever to have a mishap and be banned from the park, my desire to be there would diminish. That is when I began my search for obedience training and met Tina! Odie spent three weeks with Tina, and he has been home for three weeks today. We opened our camper last weekend, and he is doing phenomenal! I can leave him at home alone without howling, crying, and bathroom mishaps. He no longer begs. He lays on his cot in the living room while we eat meals in the dining room. We deal with no barking when neighbors and other dogs pass our house unless he is startled. I can walk him to the car with no leash, and he waits to be told to exit the vehicle. I can prop the door open to carry groceries in without fear of him darting off on me. I have the identical car canopy that Tina trains with. Now car rides are a breeze! He would never lay down for me during car trips, and now I don’t even have to command him. With his gentle lead and e-collar, we walk twice a day now with no concerns. We practice commands and drills while walking too. I can even play fetch with him in the backyard with no leash. It is terrific and great peace of mind that he can now receive the play and exercise he has always needed without me passing on my anxiety and concern that he may runoff. Overall his temperament is much more confident within himself, and he has dramatically improved. Those around me have noticed my ease without constantly standing guard for other dogs and if he may slip away on me.
