Matt is extremely knowledgeable and patient with us as we were learning how to navigate life with a former shelter dog that suffered from anxiety and reactivity. His pricing was very reasonable and he was very accommodating when it came to scheduling conflicts. We noticed a huge shift in her behavior and we are well equipped with the information he gave us to be able to give her an enriched life. Our adopted Cockapoo, Cooper, was quarantined twice for incidents injuried two neighbors who required emergency room visits. We had used other trainers in the past, but nothing they taught us helped improve Cooper's unpredictable misbehavior. A neighbor told us about Matt at Steadfast K9. We were very impressed with him from the moment we met him. His knowledge, expertise, and skills are excellent and exceeded our expectations. He has an amazing understanding of dog behavior, and he tailors training sessions to meet the needs of each individual dog and owner(s). He is excellent at communicating with dogs and dog owners, is well versed in dog behavior, and explains how and why dogs misbehave. After 10 sessions with Matt, Cooper;s behavior is much better, and we are much more informed about what to do and how to communicate with Cooper. I recommend Matt highly and without reservation.
