Stellar Canine

Sam (Stellar Canine) has been an absolute blessing! I highly recommend using Stellar Canine for all of your dog training needs. Sam is very personable, encouraging, and takes time to listen and explain everything in detail. I thought my dog was becoming a lost cause but Sam broke everything down into smaller and more manageable steps and gave me hope. My dog is now a completely different dog, and we still have a lot of work to do, but I seriously could not have done it without Sam.

Stellar Canine took on not one, but TWO young German Shepherds from us and returned the most polite, well behaved, respectful young dogs I've ever seen. I spent a long time looking for a trainer that I trusted and felt comfortable leaving my two boys with during the day for training, and landing on Sam and Stellar Canine was the best thing that has ever happened to us. She not only trained the dogs and gotten them squared away, she ensured that my wife and I both had the knowledge and tools to continue their training and growth at home. One week at Stellar Canine has given us the tools to be the best dog owners we can be, for life. I cannot recommend Stellar Canine enough for any of your dog needs.

When I contacted Stellar Canine I was desperate for last minute boarding accommodations for my large and very hyper dutch shepherd after my prior arrangements fell through just a week before my vacation. I found not only boarding, but training help, and quickly decided to sign on for the extra cost. Blaze is a very energetic dog, and I’m not an experienced trainer. I was making good progress with her, but it was still a huge challenge. Sam knew just what she needed to get on track. Her leash manners after just a two week stay are near perfect, and with it easier to handle her, it’s now fun to get her the two walks a day she really needs. With the proper exercise and stimulation plus Sam’s expert advice, her behavior at home is much better and easier to manage as well. The difference is incredible, and in a short session at pickup time, she was able to teach us how to maintain and continue training her new skills. She also kept us updated with pictures and video every 2-3 days the whole time we were gone. I couldn't be happier with how things worked out. I’m so thankful she had room to accommodate us on such short notice! I highly recommend Sam and Stellar Canine.

Without a doubt, Sam and Stellar Canine has made all the difference in the world for me and my Australian Shepherd puppy, Penny. We recently completed a series of personal training sessions, which taught us how to speak the same language and make training actually effective. Sam helped us with so much including socialization, puppy reactivity, leash work, and so much more. Sam was a dream to work with. She was so knowledgeable and actually explained why the techniques we learned were effective.
