Stephanies Dog Training

We have a rescue named Rico. He was adopted as a puppy. He is the sweetest love bug, however, presented with some challenging behaviors. Stephanie’s Dog Training was highly recommended by various friends. We’ve taken multiple classes at Stephanie’s Dog Training, including puppy kindergarten, middle school, high school, and most recently graduated from the Canine Good Citizen class. Each class has been incredibly helpful and valuable and we’ve seen amazing changes in Rico. Most recently, Rico has been able to go on walks with minimal redirections and zero reactivity! Previously, we would avoid walks because of how stressful they were. We have Stephanie to thank for her dedication, guidance and support with Rico. We have lots of more work to do and will continue to work with Stephanie! Stephanie is a dedicated and compassionate trainer. She is personable and has great humor. Her approach is non-judgmental and empathetic towards both the dogs and owners. Stephanie is encouraging and motivating and ensures you feel heard and supported throughout class. She has even taken 5-10 mins after class to answer any questions or concerns (that I was too embarrassed to ask in front of others). The dogs absolutely love her and so do the owners! Stephanie has taught me to be more confident in my capability as a dog owner. I highly recommend Stephanie! ❤️

Nado and Haley’s Love story: To those who feel like they are going through it all with their dog and feel lost. Everyone told me to give him back but I knew my heart would never let me even if he was “CRAZY” and challenging. I hope this story gives you the hope you need to push through the tough times and truly help a dog in need. I adopted my dog Nado from a local shelter, and our journey together quickly became challenging due to his past trauma and lack of training. Nado, short for Tornado, had spent the first year of his life tied up and neglected, which left him with self-taught behaviors and ZERO training at all. At approximately 1 year old and 70lbs of pure muscle and energy, training him felt overwhelming. Then the shelter recommended me to Stephanie. From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely loved animals and that Nado was going to be a very challenging dog. She went above and beyond, even making a house call when we needed it most. Her kindness, patience, and expertise have been a guiding light for us. I’ve had Nado for over eight months now, and when I reflect on those early days of frustration and emotional turmoil, I think of Stephanie and her incredible support. Through many training classes and the exchange of many long long emails, her guidance has been invaluable in helping Nado adapt and thrive in our home.The thought of Nado having to go back to the shelter broke my heart, but I was determined to give him the love he deserved, and with Stephanie's help, we made it happen. Today, Nado is a cherished member of our home and He’s loved by a much bigger family outside of our home. My sister and her boyfriend are the fun aunt and uncle, and my parents, who can no longer have/want a dog, have found true companionship in their "grand-dog." Nado's big, happy personality brings joy to everyone he meets, including all my friends and my partner’s friends. Nado loves swimming, running in big open fields, sun bathing, rolling around in dirt, grass and blankets, he loves playing his version of fetch, he loves to cuddle like the tiny human he thinks he is. Nado has a cat brother and he’s determined that one day they will become friends. Nado is the sweetest puppy who just needs guidance on how to get through life in a positive healthy way and he’s still learning everyday and I’m still learning how to help him do that. Nado is loving life, and as everyone tells me, I spoil him. I proudly say, "Damn right, that's my baby!" I don't mess around when it comes to the ones I love. I cannot say enough about Stephanie and her organization. We adopted a rescue puppy and we were referred to her by neighbors and our vet. We have been through grammar school and are now in high school. She really gets each dog ( and thier owners ) personalities.
