Stephanies Dog Training

We just finished our 5th class at Stephanie’s Dog Training and our 1st class with Krissy as our trainer! She was great to work with engaging us from the moment each class started and careful to give individual instruction to the needs of each dog. When the group had a handle on the new concepts, Krissy was great at adding in extra tasks for us to practice with our dogs. Our girl Sophie is very friendly and a little too eager to greet people. I knew this was going to be a challenge for her, but Krissy made sure to give her extra practice with this each week. She did the same with the other dogs and their challenges. I look forward to continuing classes with both our dogs and would be happy to have Krissy again as a trainer. Thank you, Krissy!

Training is all about training HUMANS to understand how to react and respond in a positive way to their dogs and how to CORRECT their dog's behavior in a positive way without rewarding them for their negative response. We have worked with Stephanie for over a year with our two dogs - a rescue Pit Bull with lots of behavioral issues and our young Golden Retriever puppy. Stephanie is an incredible trainer and "dog whisperer!" She helped us to work through really tough behavioral concerns with our rescue, including fear and reactivity; as well as the "normal" day-to-day training of a young pup, including house training and leash walking. We are so lucky to have her in our corner, helping us to improve our bond with our fur babies. 10/10 would recommend Stephanie to any and all dog owners, from simple obedience training to "tough" behaviors, and anything in between.
