Great company that really takes care of the dogs they teach! DJ was our main point of contact and she kept us updated regularly and was very responsive at the drop of a hat and reassured us every step of the way everything was going swimmingly . It’s great they come to your home the final day for “graduation” to hands on teach you how to follow proper commands. This is a must program for pets as well as working dogs and we will be back for off leash and protection training as well.

Our Bernedoodle puppy, Aramis, attended the on-leash board and train program. It was a three week program and he did really well. We were updated twice a week and were able to check on him if we wanted to. Pics were also posted on their FB site which was great. After the three weeks he was brought home and we were “trained” the commands, hand signals and corrections. Today Danielle came for a follow up session. It was great to have a refresher to make sure we are doing everything right, (we needed a few corrections.) We are so pleased with his progression that we have enrolled him in the off-leash program. They were all great with him and certainly made us feel comfortable leaving him and we can tell he is comfortable with them . Can’t wait to see his progress after his next class . 09/25/2023 Aramis just came home from his two week board and train for advanced off leash obedience training and we couldn’t be more please with his results . He had a very good grasp of his on leash commands and now with the use of an e-collar he has a good foundation for being off leash. DJ was very good at teaching us the commands and answered all our questions. Now it’s practice practice practice. He is only 6 months old so he has a ways to go . I recently had my 9-month-old Chihuahua puppy, Finn, trained by STK9 Training Company and the transformation was nothing short of amazing. He was enrolled in their Basic On-Leash Obedience with Behavior Modification program. I appreciated the almost daily social media updates of Finn and texts from DJ that kept me informed of Finn's progress throughout the training. Another aspect that impressed me was the fact that Finn was staying at the Pasadena Pet Motel where he could play and socialize with other dogs, and I knew that the staff truly cared for him. This gave me the ultimate peace of mind! After completing the training, Finn came home a changed dog in so many positive ways! He is much gentler with my older pets, and knows how to regulate his puppy/Chihuahua energy much better. Thanks to STK9, we now have strategies in place to keep my senior citizen cat safe during playtime if Finn gets too rough. They also worked wonders with him learning how to walk on a leash. He’s now a perfect gentleman in public, and I am confident that I can take him anywhere with me, and he will be obedient. I am astonished by the results from STK9 and wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone looking for a solid training program with experienced trainers in a safe environment. Overall, STK9 Training Company exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful for their expertise and dedication to helping my dog become a better-behaved companion. If you are looking for a board and train program, look no further than STK9 training! After much research into board and train programs, we came upon STK9 training. They were by far the most responsive, fairly priced and just overall easy to work with. Not to mention the dogs stay at Pasadena Pet Motel, so they also get plenty of socialization with other dogs, which is a nice bonus. We sent our dog for the on leash obedience training to get him a solid foundation and learn some confidence. Our dog has a lot of fear and anxiety and we didn’t have the time needed to really dive into the training and socialization he needed. Any board and train program is obviously an investment, but STK9 is well worth the investment into your pup. They keep you updated throughout the training, post the most adorable photos and honestly make you feel so proud of your pet. After the training is complete, they do an in home training session and teach us all his commands and all the concepts of training. Just 3 weeks and we see a world of difference! Not only do we have a more confident pup, but the in home session was very informative and gave us the skills needed to keep up with all his progress.

I had tried training for my 2-year old, 90 pound, English labrador at several places but walking him without having my shoulder disconnected from my body was never corrected. He was definitely in charge. Then a neighbor told me about the success he had at STK9 and I decided to give it one more try. Reno spent three weeks with STK while I was on vacation and when they brought him to me at the end of training, I had the dog I always dreamed of. He walks so well on the leash now, listens to simple commands, and just is so much easier for me to handle. And he is still the happy, playful pup that he always was. I liked also that they brought him to me at my home and spent time showing me everything and letting me practice and ask questions. And they followed up several times since the training. If I had another dog, I would not hesitate to bring him/her to STK9 for training.
