My husband and I were looking for a dog trainer for our dog Blue. I had asked on Facebook for recommendations of dog trainers. I had also done some searching myself. I had 2 people recommend Jared with Stoic Canine. We decided to contact Jared to get more information on his trainings for dogs. Jared asked us a lot of questions to figure out what Blue needed and how he could help Blue and us. We decided to setup a meeting with Jared to meet him and see his training area. We brought Blue with us to meet Jared as well. After talking with Jared and seeing how our dog Blue was interacting with Jared. We decided to have Jared work with Bleu. We have another dog Remy that we also wanted to incorporate into the training as well, but Blue was the main focus. We decided to have Blue stay with Jared for 7 days. Jared was great at sending us updates and video's of Bleu's progress. On pickup day we spent about an hour with Jared showing us what Blue had learned and how we can work with Blue and the skills he learned. Bleu came home with us for a week and then we decided to send him back to Jared for another 7 days of training. It's nice to take Blue for a walk and not feel like you are being pulled the whole way! We also sent Remy for a day training session with Jared. Again we got the same type of updates from Jared during the day training as we got with Blue during his 7 days of training. It's very apparent that Jared is passionate about training dogs. He does a great job at ensuring you are informed and being there for any questions. Jared also offer's dog boarding and we will definitely be using him when the time comes.

Jared at Stoic Canine trained our 4-month-old puppy for several days, focusing on basic foundation skills. He was flexible with pickup/dropoff, transparent with what to expect and provided text updates on progress throughout the day. In just a short time, our puppy learned several commands including "place," "break," "come" and more. He gained experience going in/out of crate and kennel and generally has a much calmer demeanor when we leave him in his crate (versus clawing to get out). We also had a unique instance where our puppy got ill - and Jared treated our dog like it was his own, calling to provide updates and sharing his overall dog insights and expertise on the situation. Highly recommend for all of your training needs! We look forward to continuing to build our puppy's skills with Jared's guidance.

We had such a wonderful experience with Jared at Stoic Canine! He worked with our mini golden doodle, Wesley, for a few day trainings, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Jared picked Wesley up and dropped him off, provided daily updates on what they worked on, and even sent us picture updates throughout the day. He answered all of our questions and made us feel completely at ease. Wesley made incredible progress in such a short time, and we are so grateful for Jared’s expertise and care.
