Strategic K-9 Training

Joe was incredible when it came to training my dog. I had a very intense shepherd who seemed like he wanted to attack everyone on sight. I turned to Facebook groups for advice, and all I heard was to get him fixed and give him treats. I will admit the treats seemed to work until one day I did not have any with me. That is when it hit me that neither I nor the people giving advice really understood what we were doing. I started calling different trainers to ask about their methods, but about 99 percent of them sounded just like the random advice I had been getting online. That made me even more worried. I reached a point where I was genuinely afraid I might not be able to keep my best friend. Then I called here and everything changed. Joe helped me understand that my dog was not mean or aggressive, and that the approach I had been using was actually making things worse. The transformation in both my dog and me was incredible and it happened faster than I ever expected. I now have complete confidence in him and peace of mind knowing I can take him anywhere without any issues. Thank you Joe for all the time and effort you put into helping us. You truly gave us the ability to enjoy life together again without fear.

My experience with Sydney has been amazing! After using a different dog training for over a year for my daughter's diabetic alert dog, we were hitting walls with public access triggers and her still pulling on the leash. Sydney is teaching us that there is no one size fits all approach and helping our golden retriever learn confidence in a way that feels natural and long-lasting. Sydney does a great job of explaining the neuroscience of the dog and pairing that will tools, structure, and an approach that works. 5/5 recommend!
