Chris was amazing from the first call I made to him. His calming demeanor put any apprehension I had about leaving our boy for 10 days to rest quickly. He walked us through the process, his methods and patiently answered our questions. When I came back 10 days later, I was floored by the transformation in Dexter. He was a much calmer pup. Chris demonstrated each command for us and then took the time to teach us how to continue training once we got back home. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with an obedience issue. Dexter is much more relaxed, our home doesn't feel chaotic and now we can all enjoy our sanctuary.

We had our dog in Chris’ training program for ten days. When he came home we couldn’t be happier with the improvement in his behavior and response to commands. Chris also took the time to educate us on how to reinforce what our boy learned. Before Chris’ training program we had a very chaotic puppy on our hands. I missed him dearly while he was away but now our time together is so much more meaningful because I’m not constantly just trying to tame the chaos. We’re so grateful for the time, dedication, & expertise that went into helping our boy be the best version of himself. We highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares about both dogs and their owners.

I used Chris about 9 months ago for a board and training session with my Rottweiler. Recently she became reluctant to walk anywhere after she reached the sidewalk from our house. I gave Chris a call for some advice and after a 2-minute conversation with him I did as he instructed and we are now walking again. I continue to refer others to him as we are constantly reminded of the great investment we made with using him as our trainer for our dog. 10/10

Too long didn’t read= Chris is amazing, I would have paid him double. I have a 180lb 2 yr old English Mastiff who is my best friend. He goes everywhere I go. Spends all day every day with me. After spending several thousand dollars on a kitten, I was really thinking we would have to re home him after a week. My mastiff definitely has a prey drive and his curiosity in the cat was going to end with a dead kitten. It was also quickly straining our lives. Kitten locked in one room, me sleeping separately from my wife to avoid the scratching and crying at the door all night, and just an overall poor quality of life for everyone involved. I knew I had to address this quickly. My grandmother has had 2 German shepherds amazingly trained by Chris at Stronghaus. So I gave him a call. My dog was trained as a pup but as life got busy those things faded. Chris met my dog and within minutes we were already back to better obedience. However, after entering my home the real miracles began. Chris watches and analyzes everything the dog does and knows why they’re doing it. We started working with Bert (mastiff) and jimmy (kitten). Chris knew this was serious behavior that was going to end poorly. He showed me and assisted in correcting the improper behavior (lunging, barking, hunting, panting, drooling). We gave Bert 2 maybe 3 corrections. Never to hurt him but to teach him. As Chris said, Bert needs to know that Jimmy is part of our pack and we aren’t going to let someone in our pack get hurt. Just as we wouldn’t let someone hurt him. It was the best money I have ever spent. I would have paid double. Chris suggested we do our normal routine that evening after he left but bring the cat in a carrier with us. Well that’s not even necessary after his amazing guidance. As I write this we are all sitting on the couch. I was holding Jimmy while petting Bert. There’s definitely work to continue, he still gets a little worked up. Yesterday I was holding a leash for dear life and never could have gotten here without Chris his knowledge passion and tools. His calmness and insights are worth there weight in gold. Take your dogs to him!!! Chris my wife and I want to sincerely thank you for your time and helping us through this challenge.

This may be a long review, please bare with me…..My wife and I met Chris in about ‘08/‘09 at a pet expo, I was immediately impressed with the demonstration he was doing with his own dog. That day I got his info and programmed it into my phone for use one day when we got a dog we thought was worth the investment of hiring Chris for training. We typically rescued, I wanted to wait until we were blessed with a puppy and had a clean slate to start with, rather than rescues with many issues. Well, fast forward 15 +- years, we had the chance and I was happy to scroll to his name in my contact list! That was ten days ago, we picked up Paesana this morning, she is LITERALLY a different dog, she walks on my left side with a slack leash, sits immediately when I stop walking and starts again when I do. I use a “place” command, she goes to her bed, drop the leash, walk away and she stays until I allow her to move. It’s nothing short of amazing. She sits at the side of my truck, when I open the door and say “load up” she tries to jump in, she’s a bit small to do it by herself but gets the idea. I should also tell you she is only a 4 month old puppy (Cane Corso). With this long review this probably sounds odd, but I’m at a loss for words! THANK YOU CHRIS!
