Chris Carr is extremely knowledgeable, supportive and experienced! Sending my Cane Corso, Dallas for the board and training program was the best decision we ever made for her and our family! After picking Dallas up, her demeanor was more calm and she was a MUCH BETTER listener! Chris and his team gave us a great foundation to be consistent and continue to build with Dallas for her to follow our commands. I am BEYOND Thankful for Chris and his expertise! We took our 7 month old puppy to Chris for 2 weeks. It was the best decision we made. Scooter had been through 2 different puppy classes and also 3 individual at home sessions. His growling, snapping, pulling and refusal to listen had my whole family upset especially since we have been dog owners for over 40 years and never had an experience like this. When we picked up Scooter, he was a changed puppy. He listens, walks and does not pull and understands that NO means NO. Chris has been there for us with Face time calls to make sure we are following all the guidelines to keep Scooter well behaved. Chris gave us back a family member. Thank You.

I cannot say enough good things about Stronghaus Dog Training. I am so thankful for the staff for their help with my American Bully. Although I had owned dogs throughout my life, I’ve never had the time or patience to train them. Montana has been home for a week now and he is completely transformed. He attended the basic obedience training for two weeks and wow what a difference. When Montana emerged from the training school, he was confident, able to walk in a heeling position and consistently responds to commands - but most of all he’s a much calmer dog. It really shows that the staff loves what they do in the way they handle/train the dogs. While in training, I visited Montana a couple of times to see his progress and when I wasn’t there, the staff kept me posted on everything that was going on. The trainers are amazing and treat the dogs as if they were their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to help me. I highly recommend Stronghaus Dog Training for your dog's training and behavior problems!! A big thanks to the staff, for your expertise and guidance in making Montana the dog I’ve always wanted. Before training, Dax was very bad at barking at other dogs in public and pulling you on his leash. You could've held a steak in front of him and he would of continued to bark at other dogs and pull. Dax has been home a few weeks now and is a changed pup for the better! We've taken him to several dog-friendly breweries where there are 10+ dogs present and barking and pulling is no longer an issue. We've also ran him in two 5ks since and he sticks right by your side without pulling or barking at other dogs/people passing. Not to mention reinforcing basic commands, Dax now sits, lays down, goes to place, etc. with ease. Chris was amazing with Dax and I would highly recommend any dog owner (that is willing to put in the effort and practice at home too!) take their dog/pup to him!
