I want to leave more than 5 stars. My husband and I adopted a 2yo Australian Shepard mix that had a lot of issues. We finished the 6 month training program in June. It was worth all the work and every penny. Our dog did not sleep, ate our possessions, marked the house and herded our cats to point of them refusing to be around the dog, and had the worst dog anxiety I have ever experienced. Now we live in a peaceful home. Our dog sleeps, his dog anxiety is non-existent, and our cats think he is super fun to interact with. The training was less about the dog and infinitely more about us humans. Erika, thank you so much for training we humans to create an environment our dog can actually thrive in. Thank you for teaching us how to live with a dog and not make him exist within our emotional expectations. He is a dog, and now he can live his best life in a way that doesn't short circuit nature. If you have a dog that is struggling, no, scratch that, if you have a dog of any kind, do the world a favor and go to Strutt Your Mutt for training.

Hilary provides a relationship-based training experience for her human and dog clients. She is amazing!!! We loved her focus on teaching us to modify our lifestyle to integrate a dog. Our dog (German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix) learned how to confidently navigate a human world, and we learned how to create a home environment that best meets his unique needs. After working with Hilary, our dog looks to us and trusts us to guide him in any situation. We also know how to advocate for him and his well-being in various situations. Has this been a lot of work? Yes. Has our training ended? No - just like any relationship, it’s a lifelong process. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Hilary has the knowledge, skills, and empathy to help you and your dog on your journey. I highly recommend investing in the opportunity to train with her.

Thank You to Erika and Team at Strutt Your Mutt, LLC ! Our dogs, Wags (Golden Retriever) and Ghost (Cane Corso), got I'm a brutal fight in January of 2022. We were devastated, to say the least, as we thought for sure we'd have to re-home one of them. My sister suggested that I give Erika a call. We decided to proceed with the 'board and train' program for both of them. One of the best decisions we've made! The team took great care of our boys and not only trained them, but us as well. We learned how to work on Wags' confidence and how to deal with Ghost's insane prey drive. What body language to look for and what resources to keep put away. Wags was resource guarding and Ghost was a bully. It was ALOT of work following the training and sticking with the program. But it paid off. Not only are the boys back together, Wags is the envy of all dog owners in the neighborhood, he walks 100% off leash and follows my every command. Ghost is doing great as well. He absolutely loves the game 'Find It'. If I can give any advice to pet owners starting the program; be patient and kind to yourself. There will be good days and bad days, tears and laughs. But in the end, it will all be worth it! It took us 10 months, but our pack is back together. THANK YOU STRUTT YOUR MUTT!! You guys rock!!

Hey there! We have posted on here once before so let me re introduce us. Im gabby and I have a three year old German Shepard named Luna. We have been training with Hilary Briggs since September. When luna and I started with Hilary luna was out of control. She was struggling with reactivity teetering on the border of aggression. Anytime we went outside and saw another animal or a person she was barking, lunging, snarling the works. I had no idea how to manage her behavior. Her behavior was so bad she was giving me anxiety attacks anytime we would leave the house. So eventually we stopped going out during the day. There were no walks, no outside play time, nothing other than going out to potty. Now that we have completed our training it’s like I have a whole new dog. We can go on walks, play outside, or just sit and enjoy nature. Of course Luna still has her days where she wakes up and decides she hates the world but they are rare. She still has reactivity but it’s manageable. Hilary gave me my dog back, gave me the tools to manage lunas behavior and the confidence to do so and she also gave Luna the chance at a happy life. There are two videos of a before and after I wish I could share here but sadly it wont let me. Theyre amazing go enroll you dog in classes

My dog and I had an amazing experience with Strutt your Mutt. I was really the one who needed to be taught. Jax, my dog, has a much more fulfilling life after starting training. Without Erika and her team, Jax might have been ran over by car from chasing a butterfly (seriously), or worse. Plus, I’m so glad he doesn’t have debilitating anxiety and that I know how to communicate with him in order to prevent/work through anxiety.
