Lynsey worked magic with our reactive dog Alfie! We have a baby on the way and wanted to work on his reactivity as well as train him better to leave the baby and the baby items alone, not go crazy when we have visitors over, etc and Lynsey delivered on all of that and more! I was a little worried that all the training would take away from Alfie’s quirky personality, but he’s still the same dog as before, just *much* better behaved! I had never been able to walk Alfie one handed before (he was wayyyyy to reactive to other dogs and people when we were on walks) but now I can walk him one handed with a loose leash no problems. He knows how to go to place and stay there when I need him which is also huge, especially with a baby on the way. Training with Sunshine K9 Training was a big financial investment for us (and emotionally hard to leave our dog for multiple weeks!) but it was SO worth it. I can’t say enough good things about what Lynsey does. She knows what she’s doing and really understands how to train dogs so that they understand what they’re supposed to do/not do. Highly recommend if you have a “difficult” dog that just needs a little professional help.

Lynsey is awesome! Our Aussie had already been trained on an e-collar in another state. After we moved, Charlie was not too interested in listening anymore so we had Lynsey come for a few private sessions and we’ve also used her for boarding. She uses the e-collar a little differently than our previous trainer. Her way of doing it really smoothed out his rough edges. Now the family is happy again…and a whole lot calmer! Highly recommend!!

We chose Sunshine and Lynsey based on her willingness to spend time with us “off the clock” to discuss the issues we were having with our Great Dane, Lady MoCa. Lynsey spent over an hour getting “a feel” for whether she would be a good fit for a training partner with us. I am so glad she chose us! Lady spent a couple of weeks with Lynsey at “board and train” - we called it boot camp 😁. Lady came back with a new attitude! She was still her same personality, but we were able to have people over without Lady losing it! We continued to work with Lynsey and her training tools and Lady has been well trained for over a year and a half and she still listens to us! Lady was wild! She would jump on people, bite, run away, pull on the leash, and make it generally impossible to walk her. After training, Lady is still a bit “cray cray” but she listens when we say “no” and she comes back when we say “here”. She stays on “down” as needed, sits on the floor while we eat without begging, and walks very tamely on her leash. We could not be happier with the changes Lynsey helped bring about so we could enjoy our life with Lady MoCa!!

Lynsey did such an amazing job with my dog Otis! He was very reactive and not a very good listener before his time with Lynsey, and now he is such a gentleman! He has his same goofy personality, but is able to behave himself and listen so well now! She really cares for the dogs in her program and obviously wants the best for them during and after their training. Could not thank Lynsey enough for all of her help with Otis!!
