I wish I could give Libby 6 stars. This is by far the best thing I have found on Yelp since moving to SLC. We recently got a tiny Shih Tzu that was a little nippy with food and toys when our child was around. I texted Libby and she got back to me in 1-2 hours and scheduled a visit in our yard for a week later. She encouraged me to text her and send her videos between the time I contacted her and that meeting so she could understand the behavior better. We met with her yesterday for a free consultation and she spent 90 minutes with us teaching us a ton in that time with both of our dogs. She also is teaching us great ways to help our child learn to be better with dogs. We were so impressed we signed up for the $330 package which includes a specific program for our dogs, a 90-minute consultation to review the program, and four one-hour sessions. She is super affordable, extremely knowledgeable, and takes COVID seriously (we distanced in the backyard and all wore masks). Finally, she is super flexible with time. We are meeting with her at 8 p.m. after our kid goes to bed so we can devote all of our attention to working with her. HIGHLY AND STRONGLY recommend.

Libby is fantastic. She has a way of understanding dogs that is truly special. We have 2 pups (one with more behavioral challenges than the other) who adore spending time with her and have taught us all so much. She understands how to tailor an approach that suits your dogs and really cares about their success. Our move to SLC amayfamay family dog sitters has been so much better since we found Libby.

I honestly can’t brag enough about how awesome Superhero Dog Academy is (just ask the 7 people I’ve referred!). And honestly, words don’t do justice to expressing how grateful I am to have found Superhero Dogs. Libby has given (and continues to give) my family the skills and encouragement we need to provide the best life for our very challenging dog. As a rescue, our Willie came to us with quite a few very undesirable and dangerous behaviors that felt overwhelming and unmanageable; however, through our work with Superhero Dogs, we’ve been able to better understand his unique personality and needs, as well create an environment for him that allows for safety and an increased quality of life. After just one week, we saw a huge improvement in our ability to communicate with Willie and within two weeks Willie’s behavior had rapidly shifted toward a calmer, more cooperative dog. Libby has been by our side every step of the way, even when we felt like we were failing and they truly feel like a member of our pack. They provide timely and tangible steps for helping us navigate the trenches of training a challenging dog, and have never made us feel anything but fully capable of doing the work and creating the life we want for ourselves and our fur-child. Through our work with Libby at Superhero Dogs, we’ve gained the opportunity to really enjoy our dog and for him to fully become the happy lab we always hoped he could be!
