Superior Dog Training

Jeff was the trainer I contacted when I got my retired champion Bichon Frise, Andy. Andy had alpha and anger issues which required a great deal of time, expert knowledge and training, and long term reinforcement. Jeff worked with him and instructed me on continuing training. It has been over 2 years and during that time Andy has become a great, loving, delightful little dog who is happy, friendly with people of all ages and a joy. I would recommend Jeff to any and all who need a “superior” trainer. In addition he is a genuinely great guy!

We called Jeff the first week after we adopted our Great Dane. He was impossible to walk and wouldn't listen to any of us. From the first visit, Jeff had him walking calmly by his side with no pulling whatsoever! Since then, he has taught my husband and I how to interact with our big guy and how to stay in control. Our 1 year old puppy Simba has a lot of anxiety and displayed aggressive behavior towards children and strangers, but with Jeff’s help, Simba is getting so much better in just 5 sessions! Simba had gone through a 2 week training program that used e-collars and came back with even higher anxiety. Working with Jeff has transformed our dog and helped us understand him and use training techniques that are actually effective. Jeff also applies the right mix of sternness and affection with Simba to earn his respect, and he’s taught us how to do the same. We would highly recommend to anyone struggling with their dog! His leash is also great- we’ve tried a few different style leashes and this one really allows us to administer the proper corrections with enough comfort for Simba.
