Supreme Canine

After a traumatizing experience (for both my dog and myself) with another trainer, I was very hesitant. Phil and his team were exactly what we needed. They have an amazing facility and every tool to provide a healthy training experience. My fur child learned control and confidence. I can’t say enough about Supreme Canine. We know they are just a call or text away if we need anything or have questions. We will definitely be taking our boy back for Doggy Daycare and play time.

We cannot recommend supreme canine enough! We first worked with him when our Golden Retriever was a puppy and had such a great experience that we later enrolled our dog in his 3-week adult training program as well. He sent us photos everyday while he was there. Phil and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. He took the time to explain the training process, answer all of our questions, and make sure we felt confident continuing the training at home. The transformation in our dog was amazing—not only in obedience, but also in overall behavior and confidence. What really sets Phil apart is how much he truly cares about each dog and their success. Our Golden Retriever absolutely loves him, and we always felt like our dog was in great hands. The results exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for everything he taught us. When we rescued Hank from the Humane Society he was approximately 6 months old. As time passed, he became more aggressive with strangers at our home. We consulted a trainer, but the behavior did not improve. Hank continued to be aggressive with strangers, so we reached out to Phil at Supreme Canine. With Phil, the dog trainer experience was completely different. He recognized that Hank was not aggressive but was acting out of fear. His patience and genuine love for our dog convinced us to send Hank to Supreme Canine for two weeks of intense training. When he came home it felt like he had matured as a dog! He now listens to both of us and comes when we call. We continue to work with socializing and he is definitely improving. I’m writing this review 2 weeks after we got our dog back because I really wanted to put Phil’s work to the test. And I have to say working with Phil was the best decision we ever made. My husband and I have a 5 year old German Shepherd who struggled so much with reactivity, lunging at other dogs, barking, and he truthfully had the attention span of a nat. We couldn’t take him out places because he would bark at people or get into a confrontation with other dogs/animals, run off, no recall skills, you name it. We had already worked with an in home trainer once in the past with very little results so to say I was skeptical about working with Phil was an understatement. After our last confrontation I called Phil cause something had to give. Otherwise our shepherd would have stayed cooped up in the house for the rest of his life, and we could tell he was unhappy AND he was overweight. After 2 weeks of boarding, we can confidently take Koda out to breweries, walk him OFF-LEASH around our neighborhood, and let him run around to chase squirrels & birds. We’re able to socialize him more than we’ve ever been able to in the past. He still has his silly, slightly timid personality, and he’s still our guard dog but he waits for our cues and listens. Phil is a gem, worth every single penny. He’s insanely knowledgeable on dogs and truly does care about every individual one. The facility is outstanding. It’s situated on 10 acres with a creek and an obstacle course. A lot of activities used for training and stimulation of the dog. Obviously Phil has years of experience training dogs of all sizes. Everything was done in a very positive manner. He is all about positive reinforcement. He is into socialization of the animals with people by taking them to Home Depot and Petco. He also socializes the dog with other dogs. We received daily photos and updates on the progress of his training. The fees were very reasonable based on the results. Would highly recommend Supreme Canine. Phil and his team are outstanding.
