Supreme K9 Dog Training & Advocacy

My husband and I have a 2yr old, 8 lb Cavapoo, Remi, who struggled with severe anxiety and aggression. Previous trainers didn't seem to truly understand her, and daycare was a complete bust. We were at a loss and felt forced to accept a reality where we lived in constant fear that Remi might bite us, friends, family, or strangers. Everything changed when we found K9 Supreme and, specifically, Otto. From day one, Otto took the time to uncover the root causes of Remi’s behavior, creating a personalized approach tailored entirely to her needs. They kept us informed every step of the way, explaining their insights and training techniques clearly. Our joint training sessions with Otto were incredibly informative, and gave us new training tools to use at home. Before working with Otto, our vet had recommended placing Remi on Prozac. When Otto suggested weaning her off the medication, we were hesitant. The results speak for themselves. Remi is doing even better off the medication than she was on it, and definitely is more herself. Today, we have a completely different dog. Remi has never been better and hasn't had a biting incident since training. She is significantly more confident and far less fearful. Choosing Otto and the K9 Supreme team was hands-down the best investment we have ever made, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our puppy Reggie recently completed Supreme K9’s day school program, and we cannot recommend them enough. Reggie struggles with anxiety and coping with new people and environments. When he started the program, he was very suspicious and fearful of other dogs and new people. We enrolled him in the program to improve his quality of life in the hopes that he would be able to leave the house without going into fight or flight mode. Even a walk down the block would often end with Reggie desperately dragging us home after getting spooked by a loud car or a person riding a bike. From the beginning, Artemis patiently answered all of our (many, many) questions and helped us feel comfortable that the program might be a good fit for Reggie. We were admittedly skeptical that any program would be able to help him, but we decided to give it a try. Dina, Evan, Keidy, and Otto are amazing trainers who treat every dog as their own and were so invested in Reggie’s success from day one of the program. They are compassionate, creative, and endlessly patient in developing individualized training plans to fit each dog’s needs. They operate in a controlled environment with a trainer to dog ratio that ensures safety. This was very important to us given Reggie’s extreme fear of other dogs. In introducing Reggie to other dogs in the program, the team was thoughtful about exposing him to dogs whose personalities would not overwhelm him or escalate his anxiety. Finally, the weekly owner sessions were extremely helpful in educating us on how best to continue his training at home. In the end, the results are outstanding. Reggie now loves to play with other dogs, is amenable to meeting new people, and has improved his obedience and selective listening. Although Reggie still struggles with anxiety (and likely always will), we are thankful that Supreme K9 has left him with skills that allow him to work through those stressors and enjoy a substantially improved quality of life.

Otto and the Supreme K9 team are simply the best. we did the three week homeschool program for both of our mini dachshunds (4 and 5 years old) and have seen changes in our dogs that we thought were unimaginable. Our dogs were reactive, extremely barky and unable to be around other dogs, kids or people. We as owners were constantly stressed, on edge and were letting the dogs run our lives because we didn’t have tools to communicate and correct them! Within three weeks Otto has given us the tools to correct our dogs, but also has changed their behavior fundamentally!!! we now look forward to going on walks, meeting people, having people over and being around other dogs. Otto is professional, communicative, on time and overall an outstanding Dog Trainer and human being. Thank you Otto for giving us a new life and making our dogs world’s bigger and more fulfilling!
