Supreme K9 Dog Training & Advocacy

We had a great experience working with Otto at Supreme K9 to help train our 1-year-old mixed breed, medium-sized dog, Moose. From the start, Otto was professional, courteous, and incredibly patient with both us and our very reactive pup. When we began training, our dog struggled with reactivity toward other dogs, squirrels, people, and even random noises. This made daily walks stressful and unpredictable. Building up her confidence was of paramount importance to us, as Otto immediately recognized that many of her reactivity issues were rooted in fear and insecurity. He used techniques that were different from what we’d seen online or heard from others (including those viral TikTok videos). His methods were practical, effective, and most importantly, designed specifically for Moose, not just a one-size-fits-all solution. Over the course of four hands-on sessions, we learned valuable skills and strategies that we could continue practicing at home. Each session built on the last, and we saw noticeable improvement after every visit. Otto not only trained Moose—he trained us, which was crucial to sustaining her progress between sessions. Now we’re able to take her on walks with much more confidence. She listens to our direction and is clearly more comfortable and in control. The progress she’s made has been incredible, and we credit Otto’s thoughtful approach and guidance for that. We highly recommend Otto and Supreme K9 to anyone looking for expert, results-driven training that’s tailored to your dog and empowers you as an owner.

This was a great experience for our pup Sonny, my partner and I. Cannot express enough gratitude to Otto, Nancy, Evan, Dina & Keidy. Their patience and professionalism is top notch. Sonny was quite reactive on leash to other dogs and joggers and within the first two weeks we saw such an improvement. Their transparency is also fantastic using Instagram stories to demonstrate what Sonny and the other dogs worked on throughout the day. The sessions we took part in also helped tremendously to give us the tools we need to continue to make Sonny a confident pup. Supreme K9 tailored the experience to our quirks and issues we were having. And it was interesting to see how the team can tackle different issues and needs of these puppies. We still follow along because they are an incredible resource for training and care for our dog. The love and care they showed for Sonny really came through and he was excited to see the team everyday. This experience was well worth and we will definitely keep in touch for any further training we may need.

Meet Carl, who was the cutest and best behaved bulldog puppy ever. But suddenly at eight months my adorable puppy turned into Crazy Carl, The Canine Garbage Can. Every walk we took turned into a battle of wills between me and his insatiable desire to eat every bottle, wrapper, and scrap of paper he came across. Trying to part him from the object of his attention became a battle that often ended in bloodshed. The night he tried to eat a glass bottle was the breaking point - either send him to work at the DPW or get a trainer. I've used other trainers in the past with varying levels of success but it was obvious that Carl needed more than the average bulldog. Enter Supreme K9 Dog Training. I enrolled Carl in their three week day program and I can't recommend it enough. Every staff member loves what they do and it really shows. The level of knowledge and caring is above and beyond anything I've ever come across. Carl liked it so much he would sit in the hall every morning impatiently waiting to leave for school. The daily Instagram posts kept me up to date on his progress and gave me a view of his day. Nancy our owner trainer was fantastic. She taught me how to work with Carl using the tools she recommended and today Carl is a different dog. He's not perfectly behaved but the three week day school really taught him to curb his impulsive behavior and he's getting better all the time. This is not the average trainer that comes to your house and expects you to remember everything they know after a one hour session. The three week day school was an immersive behavior modification program and the owner sessions taught me how to consistently continue what Carl had already learned. I'm beyond happy with our experience at Supreme K9 and I think every dog and dog owner would benefit from this type of program. Training is not just about correcting problem behaviors. It really taught Carl what's expected of him, and taught both of us how to communicate with each other.
