They are a great company and I'm pretty sure they do handle PTSD dogs.

Community answer · Ryan Nicolaisen · 2020-09-21

Contact Susquehanna Service Dogs. If they don't train dogs for PTSD, they can probably tell you who does.

Question on Google
Do you have dogs waiting to be rescued?

This is not a Rescue Agency. The dogs here are specifically bred and trained to be service dogs

Question on Google
how much are the dog their ? and are there therapy dogs their because human therapy is not working ?

The cost depends on if you have a dog you want them to train. They train service dogs, meaning you would be able to take the dog in public. In my opinion a service dog can help in therapy but not a replacement for therapy. If you need more information you should contact SSD so all your questions can be answered by the organization. By contacting them the information will be correct. Good luck. You can learn more at their website.

They are a part of Keystone Human Services, and you may donate to SSD on Keystone's website. Just select them under their list of services.

Question on Google
Will SSD train your non allergic dog for you if you can’t walk or breathe well? Thank you.

I'm not sure about breathing, but mobility support animals are very helpful 🙂

Went to Susquehanna service dogs today. Today was their open house. It was very informative. We saw some younger puppies. Also saw some puppy training. Very cool place to go with children.

Went to pick up a puppy! Stellar facility! Absolutely one of the most professional Service Dog facilities we've been to, and we transport from a lot of facilities as volunteer transporters.

Amazing experience...our hosts (SSD) conducted an open house for our very large group, to tour the facility. Our time was spent learning about the process of welping the newborn pups, puppy raising/sitting as they mature & begin their evaluation process. Later advanced training for the dogs as they develop additional skills, the volunteer program, plus how they process applications to own a service dog as well as yearly ongoing training programs for the owners & dogs. Highly reccomend!!! The staff, trainers & volunteers were very friendly & knowledgeable. Thank you!!

What a wonderful open house today 6/28. Met plenty of dogs in different areas of training as well as volunteer opportunities. A great time.
