Highly recommend Swan Family Dog Training for anyone who is looking for a highly qualified trainer to help their dog. Stephen is professional, thorough, and extremely passionate about helping dogs. One of the best things is when you get your dog back, he spends the time teaching the owner everything you need to learn in order to keep your dog’s progression moving forward.

My one year-old Cocker Spaniel, Luna did the one week program with Swan Family Dog Training. I am rating my them 5 stars because I was HIGHLY satisfied with my experience. During our initial consultation at my home, the trainer, Stephen Swan was able to quickly identify all of the problems I was having with my dog. He explained his training methods, and we scheduled a pick up time. Pick-up was a few days later and was very easy, all you have to send with your dog is enough food to get them through whichever program you choose. Stephen kept me updated with phone calls and videos the whole time Luna was there and I was amazed with her progress. Especially on the leash, my dog is a fein for lizards and was constantly pulling me on walks, making them unenjoyable. After just one day at training, she was avoiding lizards and obeying commands like, heel, stay and sit while on the leash. Drop off was followed by a “transition session where we went over a personalized routine for Luna and I and Stephen showed me how to implement rules such as keeping her out of the garbage and off of my furniture. He also supplies multiple leashes, a prong collar, and other tools that make training so much easier. This process was simple, informative and so helpful. I will say that you have to be willing to put in the work when your pup comes home to instill the lessons they learned in training in your own home. I’m sure it would be less work if you did a longer program. Regardless, I would highly recommend this service to someone who wants an obedient , happy dog!!! Our relationship has improved everyday since she has been home.
