No one impressed us more than Stasia at Synapse Canine Learning Center. Stasia has a wealth of knowledge and understanding in Dog Psychology. She will help you understand your dogs behavior, as well as give you step by step guidance to meet your goals. Our dog’s behavior has dramatically improved, as a result of her guidance. She’s great to work with.

Training for search and rescue has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had, not just for me but for my two dogs as well. From the very beginning, Stasia has created such a positive, encouraging, and supportive environment that makes learning both effective and genuinely enjoyable. Her knowledge and passion really stand out, and she has an incredible ability to connect with both handlers and dogs. I’ve seen so much growth in my dogs’ confidence, focus, and skills, and I’ve learned just as much alongside them. Every session leaves us feeling accomplished and motivated to keep improving!

Finding Stasia felt like finding exactly what we needed at exactly the right time and we are very grateful! We did four sessions with Stasia for our boy Zeb and I can confidently say each one was packed with value. These weren’t quick hour long sessions, she gave us real, substantial time, covering everything from foundational obedience to leash manners across all kinds of real-world situations. By the end, we felt genuinely equipped, not just patched up until the next problem surfaced. She was also very accommodating with our schedules which made it really easy. What we really appreciated about Stasia is that she coaches the humans just as much as the dog. She met us where we were, explained the “why” behind every technique, and helped us become better, more confident and understanding dog parents. There were times of real growth and learning for us and Stasia made those moments feel manageable because of her calming demeanor, patience and kindness. She always made us feel supported because training a dog can be humbling! With just 4 sessions with Stasia, our dog is now calmer, more responsive, and so much more of a joy on walks and in new environments. But more than that, we feel different too! We are more patient, more consistent, and more in tune with him as a result. If anyone needs an expert dog trainer and she services your area, we highly recommend Stasia!

Our training experience with Stasia at Synapse exceeded our expectations in every way. We reached out to address some foundational obedience needs for one of our French bulldogs, as well as specific behavioral issues with our other two, including resource guarding and impulse control. Stasia invested the time to understand the unique needs of each dog and developed a program that addressed our concerns. She taught us the tools to practice with them and offered deeper perspective on triggers and situations to manage differently. We feel more confident in redirecting behaviors now and there’s far less stress in our home as a result. Would absolutely recommend to others!
