TacoMo Dog Training

We originally worked with Tacomo to help with our senior rescue dog, Sami, who was dog aggressive after the repeated stress of being in the shelter. They taught us how to watch her for signs of comfort/stress and ways to gently and safely introduce Sami to places where there might be other dogs. We became much more confident dog owners due to our work with Tacomo. When Sami passed we eventually got a new puppy (and then another!) and both did their training with Tacomo. I highly recommend them!

We adopted our dog Koda from UPAWS and were sent to TacoMo Dog Training because he was an already 1.5 year old husky who had been abused in his previous home causing understandable food and trust issues. We needed help learning how to train his stubborn husky butt and help him realize he could still have puppy fun. Kim gave us the tools we needed to give him some more manners, ease his food insecurities, feel more safe and loved with us and just grow into himself. Even when Koda tried to get too smart for our training Kim helped us learn how to steer Koda or in this case "snoot" him in the right direction. If it weren't for Kim at TacoMo Dog Training, Koda wouldn't be the snuggly, fun-loving, trusting and more obedient dog and big fur brother he his today. 💕 Thank you!

We’ve been with Tacomo for about six or more years now between three different dogs; from puppy enrichment classes, to trick training titles and private lessons for behavioral training. They are hands down the best dog trainers we’ve ever been to. They are highly trained in watching dog behavior and educating owners how to utilize this when working with their positive-only based training methods.
