Taggs K9 Dog Training

We brought Nami in for the 21 Day Board & Train and are beyond impressed with the overall experience. Nami was 6 months old at the time, and my partner and I wanted to set up a good foundation with her by working on her basic obedience. The Taggs team, especially Andrew, Kat, Jane, and Eric, went above and beyond just basic obedience. By the end of the program, Nami learned how to channel her puppy energy and desire to please into the obedience my partner and I dreamed of. I should mention, the Taggs team also put a lot of work into training me and my partner as well. We learned that Nami is more than capable of listening, and rather that we have a lot to learn ourselves (which the team worked closely with us on). And as a final note, it meant the world to us knowing (and seeing) how much the team loved and cared for Nami. They posted on their Instagram everyday to document Nami's progress, and they never tried to keep her from her silly and affectionate personality - they 100% embraced it. No doubt we plan to work with Taggs in the future for further training + boarding. Massive thanks to you all from me, my partner, and Nami!! <3

When I got Duke, he had already so many bad habits. I started instantly looking into training. He would puppy bite, not listen, walk however he wanted on the leash, cry in his crate, etc. With a toddler at home also, he was a lot to manage. I ultimately decided to go with Taggs even looking at other choices. Once I put my interest in, I received a phone call from Kat. She was very willing to help me from the initial phone call. I followed them on instagram and watched all of the other dogs and knew Duke was nothing like them. I dropped off Duke and felt bad because I was relieved he was not my problem for a couple weeks, but also eager to see how he would turn out after the 2 weeks there. Pick up day came after a long awaited 2 weeks and boy what a difference. There are times that this boy still shows his puppy and hard headedness, but compared to how he was prior to the training it is night and day. I can have a conversation while out and about and him on the lead. He now respects my commands. He is doing great with the family, and he listens better than the toddler at times. I did the puppy go home with Andrew instead of Kat, and he taught me all the fundamentals I needed to confidently go home and work with him. I get compliments when we are out and about that he is well behaved. I know he still has a ton of work to do, but the Taggs Family have coached me on how to work with Duke. I couldn’t be happier with the services provided and would definitely recommend them to anyone. If you are on the fence about getting your dog trained, don’t be. It will all be worth it in the end. I wholeheartedly recommend Taggs K9 to anyone who needs help with their dogs! Kat helped me so much with my puppy Zoey. She is a husky/shepherd mix, and on the crazy side lol. Zoey was a little too enthusiastic with my toddler and we were having problems with her biting. Now she doesn’t bite him at all. He was even able to sit on her the other day and she didn’t react at all! Thank you so much Kat/Taggs K9 for all of your help! 💜

Joe and I cannot begin to express how pleased and grateful we are for the training and love you showed Daisy for the 21 day board and train. Before Taggs we had a dog that was lovable at home but aggressive with dogs who barked or were in leashes and nothing we tried worked. Now we have a partnership with the best trainers who have given us tools to be able to keep working with Daisy. Now it is a pleasure to walk with Daisy and know we can handle any situation. Thank you Taggs for giving Daisy the best training and having a dog who is not limited to early morning training. This morning I am loose leash walking Daisy in daylight. I shared the video because she may be a work in Progress but Taggs has given us the tools for this to be a reality. She goes by dogs barking when she can’t see them where before she be wanting to get to those gates. Daisy is not perfect yet but she is lovable as always and controllable now. She actually looks to me for focus and that melts my heart. Words can’t begin to thank you all for making life with Daisy so enjoyable and yes, as soon as we are Done walking she wants a belly rub as always.

Best decision ever to ask Taggs K9 for help with our impulsive Double Doodle Coal. He would literally take me for a walk, pulling me along in all directions, especially if a rabbit was nearby. One morning he pulled the leash out of my hand and that was my breaking point. Kat and Ken helped Coal and us tremendously! After the first lesson, Coal was walking like a new dog, right by my side as he should. I highly recommend Taggs K9 and will definitely be referring new customers.
