Taggs K9 Dog Training

We just finished our last private lesson at the Ranch today. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the trainers at Taggs. We adopted our 12 month old goldendoodle in September 2022 when she was 8 months. We were in over our heads with our dog, Daisy. She had never been walked on a leash, was people reactive, scared of everything and a million other things. Her vet was even scared of her and said we needed to get her help. She lunged and growled at anyone walking into our house or out on walks. She was scared and were told biting was next from her. She was always scared and hyper alert. We had no idea where to start with training and were worried we were going to have to rehome her. We found Ken and Taggs through a lot of internet searches. We had no idea what to expect. The trainers at Taggs are knowledgeable, kind and SO HELPFUL! We now have a dog making so much progress! We can have people in our home, walks are 98% enjoyable with Daisy(we are still working with her), and she's able to calm her mind. What they do at Taggs isn't necessarily dog training but owner training. 😊 They taught my family and I how to teach Daisy to live in our world/home. They taught us how to use training tools to help Daisy calm her mind. I could go on for pages about all the wonderful things we learned throughout our 5 lessons. We feel confident to continue to help our Daisy to become the best version of herself she can be. Through all of the training we felt supported as we navigated this new world of dog training. I am not exaggerating when I say Taggs saved our dog. Thank you! The 1st picture I included is Daisy and my 20 year old daughter who attends college out of state. At Thanksgiving, Daisy wouldn't let her near her, growled and lunged at her in and out of the house. After some more training and guidance from Taggs, at Christmas they became best friends who played and snuggled before my daughter went back to school. This was incredible and such a change in just a month. The second picture is Daisy practicing her sit while out for a walk.

I am absolutely impressed with Lunas behavior. She is a very reactive dog and our walks were at times difficult with her barking/pulling. She is also very food resourceful and can react to unknown situations. Through Tagg’s team my dog is a completely different dog at home. I was very impressed that during our first walk (with a stroller) she didn't pulled nor bark. She walked structurally following my lead. Through Taggs and his team we learned the importance of building a relationship with your dog through structure and consistency. With that said I am committed to continuing to build that relationship with my dog by providing her quality time implementing what we learned. The only thing we wish is that we would had trained Luna a long time ago. Thank you so much!!!
