Taggs K9 Dog Training

I want to share my wonderful experience with Ken. My dog Bugsy got out of the apartment and bit our neighbor because he had a previous bite history he was taken to the shelter for quarantine, this made me realize that he needed serious help if I was going to keep him and the people around him safe. I reached out to all of the dog trainers in Las Vegas and decided to go with Taggs K9 and it was the best decision I could ever make. Ken was understanding from the very start. From the time Bugsy got out of quarantine until he started the board and train program and even afterwards. Ken trained Bugsy to be an obedient dog, and me a better dog mom to him. We now can enjoy outings and walks with ease. Bugsy is not perfect and will still test his limits but Ken gave me the tools to deal with it and address this issues. With this, I am a more confident dog owner and Bugsy is a much calmer dog that knows that there are rules and boundaries.

My family decided to board and train our six month old puppy for obedience training. We were experiencing small issues that as a first-time dog owner, I wasn’t sure how to adjust. We were lucky to have found Taggs K9 dog training and was assigned to Simone. Simone did a fantastic job of redirecting our puppy of all of the concerns we were experiencing. It was stated in the beginning of the boarding that she is “not a miracle worker” however- it seems so. LOL She did an excellent job with explaining everything to the family so that we could all be on the same page. It really is up to the owners to do their part for the program to work. I did the Good Manners class with my service dog to strengthen mine and his skills for public access. This was perfect for what we needed and I learned a great deal in a different way that worked better for me and Biscuit. They provided hands on training, training with distractions, and different ways to address problems or how to be prepared for those. Since going to the training and applying those techniques, my relationship with Biscuit and our confidence has increased greatly in such a short amount of time. I can't thank you enough! We cannot say enough amazing things about Ken with Taggs K9! We enrolled our one-year-old Cavapoo, Pride, in his two-week board and train program, and the transformation has been incredible. Before training, Pride struggled with extreme anxiety, separation anxiety, constant barking, and overall nervousness. He has always been the sweetest dog, but he just didn’t feel confident or at ease. After working with Ken, he came home like a completely different dog. His anxiety is so much more manageable, his barking has significantly decreased, and walks are now enjoyable—no more excessive pulling! We also have another Cavapoo, Puddles (3 years old), and when both dogs were back together, we initially had a few challenges implementing everything. Ken was incredibly supportive and helped us through it by doing an additional session with Puddles and introducing one of his training tools. That made a HUGE difference, and now both dogs are calmer, happier, and more balanced. We did a lot of research before choosing a trainer, and Ken stood out right away. His passion, knowledge, and ability to clearly explain the training process gave us so much confidence—and he absolutely delivered beyond our expectations. Our dogs are not only better behaved, but they’re also more confident and genuinely happier. We are so grateful for everything Ken has done for our family.
