Taggs Town Family Dog Training Center

Love Taggs Town and the Taggs family so much. Have been using them for a little over 2 years now for boarding and training and they have been extremely reliable and loyal to me as a customer, my dogs have made amazing improvements through them and they always go above & beyond for me and my pups. I have a pit who can be a bit difficult at times and previous facilities have always made me feel like they are doing me a huge favor by taking him on. The trainers at Taggs know what they are doing and are not afraid of a challenge and always make me and my dogs feel super welcome. So happy to see the new facility and it's really spacious, nice and clean inside. Good job!

After losing my beloved cocker spaniel I decided to purchase another cocker puppy. The black cocker spaniel I purchased was 6 months old. He had been living in a kennel setting and was without any training or discipline. It only took two weeks for me to admit I was in over my head with him. I had made no progress in house breaking or discipline despite consistently trying to work with him. He was loving and sweet, but resisted any type of correction. I sought training assistance, interviewing multiple training services. On the phone Ken at Taggs demonstrated a sound action plan to training my little guy, providing me with a confidence that he was experienced and very focused on helping me. He suggested an in person visit to the facility so I could observe training given to dogs and also to enable him to meet and assess my puppy Finn and his needs. Perhaps the most important point for me that day was understanding the part I would have to play in this effort. Ken clearly defined and stressed the need for my follow up each day when Finn came home. Between the training Finn received from the Taggs team and the education that was simultaneously provided to me, I had a changed puppy in just two weeks. He walks on his lead without pulling. He sits and stays on command. Potty training brought great results. He remains a sweet happy puppy who is a delight to live with. My stress in managing him is gone, and I have a wonderful little guy to totally enjoy. At his two week post training check up Finn walked in without pulling on his leash and sat by my side throughout our visit, tail wagging the whole time. I cannot thank this dedicated training team enough. As I look back from the onset of my search for help, I am confirmed in believing a locally owned program, as opposed to a franchise of a national company was the right choice. From the onset I felt the dedication and pride of ownership, services offered, and successes Taggs has achieved would be my best opportunity to achieve the results I needed. They did not let me down.
