Tail to Tail Training

I cannot say enough great things about Christine, and the trainers at Tail to Tail Training. I was looking for a trainer for our 2 year old male bull terrier and his 5 year old brother, and they were recommended to me by a Facebook dog group. I had to do my own research of course, because I was in dire need of getting our issues worked out, and required experts who had experience with the breed. I was turned away by many trainers because of their breed and was told- " these were just issues with the breed itself, and could not be trained out or even attempted to." I spoke with Christine who assured me she had many years or experience with Bull Terriers and that whilst they are stubborn - they can definitely improve and learn manners and commands. I waited a year to save up and figure out good timing for us to drop them off for board and train- and also for me and my husband to mentally prepare as we were really stressed about leaving our dogs. One of our dogs had been kicked out of several daycares, and we never really had success with anyone being able to handle his rowdy self. Christine and her trainers were extremely compassionate and understanding of our nervousness and helped us talk through the issues we wanted addressed and what concerned us. We were able to get updates on Facebook and by text about how the dogs were doing and that made it so much easier for us to relax while they were gone. At pick up we were absolutely blown away with the improvement in both dogs- and so relieved that we found people who understood them and their issues. These trainers are true professionals who take their time to understand what's truly going on with the dogs they train, and the end result is a reflection of their dedication and care. My husband and I are beyond pleased and so grateful that we found them. They will both be back for boarding in the future and group classes to maintain and build their skill set.

I could not be more pleased with #Tailtotailtraining. I just picked up my 5 month old mix bread shelter rescue who was feeding off a cat before being rescued by Pasadena Animal Shelter. The work Toni and Christine put into this dog is unbelievable and so appreciative. I was so sad Angel wasn't a snuggle bunny, but then Christine taught me how to get a few good pets in before she runs off. And Toni!! She taught me the difference between yes and YES!!!!!! Angel is so much calmer, more understood and understandable. I'm so happy with the outcome and look forward to our refreshers every month. Thank you TailToTail!!!

I can’t express my gratitude enough for Tail to Tail Training! My miniature schnauzer, Prince was very anxious and reactive. They used effective techniques that improved his reactivity and leash manners. They always take the time to explain the why behind every method. It’s very clear they genuinely care about dogs and their owners. I learned that I actually needed just as much training as Prince did and maybe more!
