I am writing this to share my long-term appreciation for Tail Waggin' Adventures. Back in 2022, my dog Simon successfully obtained his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification under the expert guidance of Renee Piper. Simon’s success was the result of a comprehensive training journey we started in 2019; he completed the full range of group classes, supplemented by invaluable one-on-one sessions and day training that allowed for highly focused development. The results were remarkable, particularly in his ability to remain calm and neutral when a stranger approaches—a skill we still rely on today. The facility’s safe, dedicated training area provided the ideal controlled environment for these varied training formats. Renee’s evidence-based approach and professional mastery were so impactful that they inspired me to pursue my own career as a certified dog trainer and canine behaviorist. I highly recommend Renee Piper and her team for their dedication to excellence in canine education.

I just wanted to share how deeply grateful I am for everything this amazing team has done for us. We’ve been working with our dog Zoey for quite a while now, and recently we attended an agility trial at Big Dog Fun to try things out on a bigger scale—beyond our little backyard setup. Zoey did amazing! She had a quick zoomie moment at the start but pulled it together and really impressed me. One moment that really stuck with me was when a stranger sitting nearby said, “You have a very confident dog!” That simple comment hit me so hard. Zoey used to be so unconfident—she was reactive toward unfamiliar dogs and had a hard time focusing on us at all. Now, even when another dog barks at her, she can stay calm and collected. Seeing how far she’s come genuinely brought tears to my eyes. She even handled the loud teeter noise indoors, which would have overwhelmed her in the past. We’re so excited to continue training here. We'll likely be doing more Day Trains with our other dog, Eliza. While she generally does fine with separation when she’s given attention, we really want to help her build the confidence to stay calm and collected no matter what’s going on around her. We’re especially hoping she can join the therapy dog class next time it’s offered, so a little extra prep beforehand will be a huge help. Thank you all for your guidance, encouragement, and the heart you put into everything you do. Tail Waggin’ Training Center has been a lifesaver for me! After my husband passed away, my young dog was struggling without him. Elijah and the other amazing staff members have been patient and consistent and have been able to make huge progress with him in the last few months. I appreciate their attention to his needs, and how they work to train and build his confidence, and in turn help me know how to follow up at home. They are the best!
