Question on Google
Do you have herding classes?

Although they do not offer a herding specific class, they do teach Wag It! Games which incorporated Treibball, a herding specific sport.

Community answer · Angi Lenz · 2021-09-21

Tails does not offer herding classes. The best way to get started in herding would be to visit a local herding trial and observe the handlers, see whose style looks like something you might enjoy learning and then asking them if they are a trainer themselves or if they can recommend one. You will see many different styles in use in herding, make sure you look for a trainer that you feel comfortable with. Ask if you can observe a lesson or two that they have with another client and make sure their style will work for you and your dog. I take my dog for lessons once in awhile just for fun, our trainer teaches in Arlington.

We absolutely loves Tails! They are so wonderful to our pups and provide a safe and interactive fun experience for them! The folks at tails feel like family, they truly care about our dogs! They hold us accountable for ensuring we do our part in their training and behavior too, which is helpful for us. We love Tails A Wagging and really appreciate Angela and her team ❤️🐶

This is a great place to bring your pooch to start them along with their training needs. They have a variety of classes for age groups and talent levels. I really enjoyed their puppy classes that help provide you with the basics to have a well-mannered dog. They have a well-equipped large area with plenty of spacing for several families to bring their dogs. They also have daycare that help dogs with socializing. If you have a puppy bring them here before they learn bad behaviors and start them on the right path.
