Tails Together Training

I can’t say enough about Cheyenne and Tails Together Training. We feel SO blessed to have found her. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and really listens to her clients. Cheyenne has so many gifts, but one that really stands out for us is her intuitive approach - it’s definitely not a one fits all kind of training - she hones in on your pet and adapts her vast knowledge and experience specifically to the breed, stage development, behaviors, and temperament. She can pivot on a dime to change up the training when needed and I love watching her work. The progress we’ve had with our young, very reactive/insecure Pyr-mix has been extraordinary. And I love that she trained US as well - she’s made us better dog owners. We highly and enthusiastically recommend Tails Together Training.

My wife and I paid for private lessons for our 10-momth-old border collie. The trainer, Cheyenne, did not communicate with us well at all. She would say one thing and then change what she sad. She showed up late to our prescribed time. She accused me of giggling at her during one walk which I did not. She brought out other aggressive dogs during our training lessons which was inappropriate for or puppy. In short, we found her to be extremely difficult to work with. We stopped the training halfway through.

I purchased a package of five private lessons that I spread over 10 weeks. I was extremely happy with Cheyenne and Tails Together Training. I was really impressed with Cheyenne‘s knowledge and background in dog training and her understanding of the different training techniques and needs of different breeds. It was a great experience for both me and my dog, (Shih Tzu), and I highly recommend Cheyenne and Tails Together Training.

Our dog Frankie found her way to us five months ago in a rough state. She was extremely anxious, reactive, and untrusting of new people and places. It's been a long journey, and with Cheyenne's support and guidance, we've seen tremendous progress. Cheyenne provided a wealth of tools, training routines, and tracking systems to better understand our dog. She's also been a source of motivation and company for us, which has been critical because taking on a dog with tough behavioral issues can be lonely and challenging. She has been generous in her love and support for Frankie!
