Zac has been wonderful since our first interaction - which was just after our pup was viscously attacked by another dog. He has gone above and beyond supporting Ruby and our family through the trauma to us all. He’s been working with her on her extended fear and excessive barking since the attack. Zac is so gentle, kind, and knowledgeable about what works well and how to help us get her “back to normal”. We look forward to working with him on additional needs as Ruby continues to mature. Zach is God sent! If you are browsing around for a dog trainer I highly recommend him. His rates are 100% the most affordable rate you'll fine in Denver. He also takes Venmo as well to for the millennials out there! Raj is 11mnths old German Shepherd and Aussie mix who had a report filed on him for aggression in my apartment complex. Owning an aggressive reactive German Shepherd previous I knew this was not Raj. I've spoke with several trainers who wanted to charge over 2k to work with an "aggressive" dog and one previous trainer who was unable to combat Raj manners on a walk. Zach came to my apartment and immediately addressed the behavior of Raj ( he gets overexcited and likes to jump on people; timid of dogs as well too) After walking around my apartment we agreed to combat the issue at Wash Park and put the training to the test - i was in disbelief. Whole new dog! A problem that I thought would be an issue to fix turned out to be solved in less than an hour. Within a half an hour into the session Raj ignored people, he listened and stayed by my side when he saw any dogs. Having Zach here coaching Raj and I has made a huge weight on my shoulder lifted. I now feel confident that i can take control and walk him anyway without the fear of lunging at dogs or people. The only problem I have is that I wished I met Zach sooner rather than later.

Zac was very kind, patient, and understanding with my fearful rescue pup, Aspen. It seemed as though Aspen’s fear-based aggression got worse during and after the world went into lockdown from COVID. Zac taught me how to read Aspen’s body language so that I could feel more confident about his unpredictable behavior with dogs and other people. He also helped train me in how to handle Aspen’s leash reactivity while walking past other dogs. Overall, one session with Zac helped me gain more confidence, which is definitely also rubbing off on Aspen! I also appreciate the fact that Zac welcomes any additional questions and keeps communication open even after or session. It’s nice knowing there is a constant support system.
