My puppy is 7 months. Well socialized but does not listen to any commands. Can you help?
Tails Up basic obedience is great

You would really want to sign up for the beginning obedience class at the Tails Up Dog Training. This is an essential class for the dog to learn all basic obedience commands. The class is eight weeks long and it's much needed for both - the dog and the owner. It helped us a lot! As far as I know, the beginning obedience classes are filled up pretty quickly, so you may want to call their office to check for the available start dates or put your name on the waiting list.

Do you offer classes for training therapy dogs? Dante is signed up for the Canine Good Citizen class coming up this Thursday. I am hopeful that he passes that so I am looking for training for therapy dogs. Thank you.
The Tails Up Dog Training does offer therapy dogs classes. You will have to check with the staff to see when the next class is scheduled. Have fun with Dante in the CGC class!

Hi there - I thought that puppy kindergarten was a bit of a luxury that we indulged in, even though we have been watching and following a lot of McCann Dogs videos (which I really like). I figured these online videos would be enough, but the rescue org highly recommended puppy kindergarten so we signed up. These e-mails put the kindergarten over the top in terms of value for me. I've been printing out the handouts and they are so helpful for remembering what we want to work on. And the information today on puppy exercise - I would not have known that information even existed, so I could not have known where to find it. (Too bad my vet doesn't give this kind of info out, though.) We just completed the third class and I am so happy with the the teachers, the curriculum, the set-up - really grateful to you for all of it. I've always wanted to train a puppy, and this is my chance. You have made it even better with the clear information and the great teachers, classes, curriculum, and handouts. I'm so glad you allow two handlers in Puppy K - this is a joint project with my son and we are really helping one another to be consistent and to think through how we want to handle each thing. It's important that we could take the class together.
I’ve done various classes with three dogs at Tails Up and have had nothing but positive experiences each time! The instructors are wonderful and do a really good job of making sure that all levels of students and dogs needs are met. They are extremely knowledgeable and my dogs wouldn’t be nearly as well behaved without them!
It was a wonderful experience for both Trooper and me. Sheryl was a kind and caring trainer and it was clear how much she respected and loved all of the dogs. She certainly had a connection with my dog and for me she was amazingly creative in helping a grandma and owner of a 6 month old British Lab. I would recommend Tails Up to all my friends!
Sandy is an excellent instructor, Mingo has come a long way in her classes , thank you for all your guidance and support .
