Tame Dog Training & Boarding

After reviewing a number of places, I chose to place my 14-week-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel with Matt. Charlie was being a puppy, biting me, chewing up electrical cords, pulling on pant legs, etc. He was relentless! I viewed a number of You Tube videos and tried everything suggested, and the house and I were torn up. Matt took Charlie for two weeks. He and his staff worked with my little alligator and returned to me a sweet little dog! I plan to send Charlie back for further training when he gets older.

Throughout last year our Goldendoodle had become increasingly anxious and aggressive towards other dogs particularly when on leash. It had gotten to a point where every time we left the house with him we were anxious as well. The stress his behavior was causing both him and us made us realize it was time to take action. After researching nearly every dog training service in the DFW area we found Tame's Standard Off-Leash 17 Day program. From the moment we spoke with Matt we were sold. His expertise in this space was clear, he was empathetic towards us, reassuring, and made us feel like our dog would be in good hands while in the care of his team. I can confidently say Tame's Standard Off-Leash Training Program has been the best investment we have made in ourselves and our Goldendoodle! After our training sessions with Matt we felt empowered and more knowledgeable to both help correct behavior and stop certain behaviors for occurring. Matt has continued to be accessible to us even now that the program is over. We are grateful to Tame for the transformative impact they have had in our lives!

Our dog Freya was dealing with anxiety and was being reactive with people and other dogs. We sent her with Matt for the 14days training program and the results were amazing. Matt made sure we understood the training and showed us the strategies to work with Freya. He gave us the chance to practice with the leash and the e-collar so we knew exactly what to do when we got home. Now Freya is a happier and more relaxed dog. She moved from barking at everybody to cuddling with other people and playing with other dogs. The results really amazed us and we are planning on sending our other pup, he doesn’t have any issues, but we believe this training truly helps us and our dogs communicate and understand each other better.
