Do you train dogs do become service dogs?
No they don't, they train obedience with vibrating/shock collars. Pack boarding, no training of employees, you can judge for yourself.

I would HIGHLY advise when arranging a Sunday pickup you should make CRYSTAL CLEAR to your customers that the facility is closed for pickups between 10am and 4pm. I just drove over 3 hours from Nashville to Memphis to find the place closed. Yes, upon review, the hours are listed and I should have confirmed, but did you seriously not give us an honest heads up about this? You knew we came all the way from Nashville to bring our dogs here and you didn’t bring up your Sunday open hours when we scheduled the pickup?
6/16 edit (from 1 to 3 stars): I appreciate the baths and the feedback response (note: we were charged for the additional day). I would also recommend giving a courtesy call to scheduled pickup customers before closing up shop to see how far away they are.

Ashley was amazing! After bringing home our newborn, our dog started acting out and had way too much energy. We were genuinely concerned about our baby’s safety. Thankfully, we found Taming the Wild and enrolled our dog in the three-week advanced training program. The transformation has been incredible—he now follows commands, is much calmer, and we feel more confident having him around our newborn. We’re so grateful for Ashley’s help and highly recommend her to anyone needing expert training!

We first worked with Taming the Wild in November 2022 when our pup, Finn, was just four months old—and we’ve trusted them ever since. Most recently, we decided to invest in the e-collar training and were thrilled to find out that Finn would be working with Ashley again! She is absolutely incredible—knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what she does.
During both of Finn’s boarded training sessions, we received regular updates, pictures, and reassurance. The Saturday refresher sessions have also been a great resource whenever I have questions or feel Finn could use a little reminder.
Our goal was to have a well-trained dog we could enjoy at home, on walks, and at the dog park—and that’s exactly what we have. Highly recommend Ashley and the entire team at Taming the Wild!

Our Taming the Wild experience was fantastic! Ashley skillfully turned our 10 month old golden doodle from a hot mess into the perfect gentleman!! He came home to us with a whole set of skills that allows us to enjoy him even more. The whole process was so professional and helpful. We got updates and photos showing us how he was doing (like a kid at camp)! I felt he was in capable, caring hands the time he was away. Sooo worth the money. Wish we could have trained all of our dogs up until now!
