Do you train dogs do become service dogs?
No they don't, they train obedience with vibrating/shock collars. Pack boarding, no training of employees, you can judge for yourself.

Do you do any potty training ?
Yes. Taming the Wild provides Housebreaking training as well as all other dog training needs.

Our rescue dog just completed the 3 week program and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience. We are so thankful for the care and training that our dog received from Emily in her 3 weeks! She went way above and beyond by sending us frequent videos and text updates, and even sending us tips in the videos so we could see how she had our dog perform certain commands. She was very attentive to every little detail, and made sure our dog was eating enough and not over-exerting herself. Plus, Emily made sure the dog was having plenty of fun also! She introduced our dog to the agility course and noticed that our dog really seemed to enjoy that. Then she made sure she got to play on that some! We also were bummed that we were missing seeing our dog’s first snow, but she sent us videos without us even having to be *those people* and ask! The turnover class was incredibly helpful. I had no idea what to expect, but Emily made sure we had all the tools to continue the training at home. She made sure I felt confident and equipped, and I know she will continue to be a great resource for us. I was also very impressed at how Emily managed our expectations and helped us know what to expect once we got our dog home. We are very grateful for her, and for the care of all the staff at Taming the Wild. When we went to pick up our dog, all the staff knew her and had stories to tell about her. Ashley and this place are so worth it. My rescue (Clover) was pretty reactive around other dogs and stubborn with at home training. She did boarding and training for 3 weeks and I am SO HAPPY with how she is doing now. They do a great job explaining everything so that the transition back home was easier. It’s also so nice to be able to text her trainer whenever I have questions and go to the (free!) refresher classes. We went to a refresher session today and she was so excited to go back and see Ashley. Not only am I happy to have a well behaved dog, Clover is so much happier too with more structure in her life. I cannot recommend them enough.
Ashley was fantastic with our dogs! Highly recommend Taming the Wild.
Our 2 dogs are so much better now. Glad we took them.
