Taming the Wild

I’m glad there’s not a word limit because I could go on and on about how this training has changed not only my dog’s life, but mine as well. Owning a Great Dane is challenging, but owning a Great Dane that was stubborn, and strong willed was scary. I was limited on what I could do and where I could go with my dog. I’m now able to take him with me everywhere and I love hearing people comment about his behavior. It’s one thing to train our dogs, but it’s another thing when the staff takes time to train the owners. Being able to go back and refresh skills whenever needed has been invaluable. When things don’t go to plan, I hear the trainer’s voice in my head telling me what to do - and it works every time. If you’re considering enrolling your dog, don’t hesitate. Taming the Wild was recommended to me and I’ve not regretted it for one minute. Every dog owner deserves a well-trained dog. And every dog deserves a well-trained owner.

Taming the Wild is absolutely incredible! i took my 4 month old Cane Corso to them for the Advanced Training and within 3 weeks he learned so much! I could not imagine having a dog without taking them to Taming the Wild! Ashley and the whole staff are so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They stay in constant contact with you which makes you feel like part of the process and it’s awesome to watch them work with your dog as they are learning. I will continue to do more training with Ashley and will only board my dog at Taming the Wild!

Taming the Wild delivered exactly what i needed. I have a high energy German Shepard puppy who doesn’t know how big and strong he is. Since taking him to TTW, everything has been simple and peaceful. My puppy is still fun and silly and has the freedom to be himself, but TTW helped him understand the boundaries of acceptable behavior. Our trainer, Ashley, did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend TTW to anyone seeking a perfect balance of structure and joy with their dog.

Taming the Wild is a great obedience school. The staff are friendly and responsive to emails and calls. We took our 6month adopted stray for enhanced training after he started getting too rambunctious in the house (he was jumping, not listening, and nipping a lot). Ashley trained him and did an excellent job. She updated us every few days w videos on his progress. She answers all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. Our dog’s behavior has improved so much. He does not jump, minds his manners; and our kids love playing with him. Our daughter who has been afraid of dogs for years now adores him, pets him, and takes him for walks. The training is totally worth it.
