I honestly don’t have enough words to thank Hugo at Tanattus Dog Training. Our AmStaff was extremely aggressive. We couldn’t have him around anyone outside our immediate family without being on edge, constantly worried he might bite someone. It was a really tough and stressful situation for us. Then a family friend recommended Hugo. From day one, he explained his training methods and was very honest with my husband and me about the process. I still have a video from the first day I dropped our dog off, he was showing serious aggression toward Hugo. But within just a week or two, we saw a huge change. Our boy was no longer aggressive with Hugo, and he started to trust him. Over time, our boy became more relaxed, responsive, and far less reactive. Now, we can finally bring him around our family without that constant fear. It’s been absolutely life-changing. We’re beyond grateful for everything Hugo has done for us and our fur baby.

First all by some of the reviews on here that got 1 start are ppl talking about what they heard or saw yet never even took there dog to Hugo. Which is a coward move. He did a amazing job with my dog Axel... he was very aggressive and older dog ...Hugo worked his magic and had patience with my dog...til this day I'm ver grateful for him...Axel is a better and more comfortable going out and being around other animals..Hugo has even watched my dog when I have gone on vacation. Hugo loves dogs and is very dedicated to his craft to make sure you get the best out of your dog..when ppl ask me about my dog training I always recommend Hugo ....go there and see for yourself and dont believe the paid review 1 star reviews ...judge for yourself...

I can’t say enough good things about Hugo and the incredible work he’s done with my Pitbull, Jersey. From the very first session, it was clear Hugo has a deep understanding of dogs—and just as importantly, a calm, confident energy that immediately put both me and Jersey at ease. Jersey came in with a lot of energy and some behavioral challenges, but Hugo’s patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement techniques made a world of difference. Not only has Jersey become more obedient and responsive, but our bond has grown stronger thanks to the tools Hugo gave me to continue training at home. What I appreciated most was how Hugo took the time to explain why each technique works. He wasn’t just training Jersey—he was teaching me how to be a better dog owner. His love and respect for animals is obvious, and he treated Jersey like his own. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares and gets results, I highly recommend Hugo. Jersey and I are both better off thanks to him!!!!
