Tara is terrific with our Zuzu! (a 10 month old goldendoodle puppy). She has taught her to walk right by my side, which is crucial as I’m having both knees replaced (one at a time). I need our dog to behave while I use a walker and walk slowly. We have a busy neighborhood with lots of young families and dog walkers. All good distractions for puppy training. Tara’s also teaching and reinforcing our skills with all the good behaviors inside our home. We first met Tara when we moved up here with our four-year-old goldendoodle, Sadie, who quickly learned with Tara’s teaching, modeling and coaching. Thanks for all your good work, Tara!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tara!! Prior to finding her, my dog and I had two really disappointing experiences with two separate dog trainers, and I had totally given up on trying to find a good trainer. When he turned two years and was still having trouble with some basic commands, as well as battling a crippling fear of having his nails trimmed I knew I had to do something. I'm so glad that I came across an advertisement for Tara because it has been absolutely life changing!! She leads with love and positive reinforcement, which is so important to me because my dog is incredibly loving and does not respond well at all to harsh commands or negative responses at all. She's so knowledgeable in her craft, and it's apparent that she approaches every dog as an individual. You will get no "one size fits all" blanket training methods or strategies with Tara. We have seen such incredible growth with my dog. He has shown huge improvements in his recall at the dog park which he did not have at all in the past. Most importantly, for the first time in his entire life he was able to get all of his nails trimmed in one groomer appointment without fearfully trying to escape! He is just over the moon excited every time he sees her… Which says it all. We cannot thank Tara enough!

We’ve used 4 different trainers over the past 15 years with different styles and techniques and we’ve had the MOST success with Tara. Her method is truly positive allowing our dogs to remain happy and unafraid. Our sessions were almost like magic. Literally - boom! Our dogs were obeying her commands. And Tara made sure our whole family was also well trained in HOW to train. Highly recommend. I give 6 stars, not just 5
