Taylor Made Working Dogs has provided my family with 2 perfect additions. For nearly two years we have been working closely with this company and family to find two working line GSDs and couldn't be happier. After much research, we were lucky enough to stumble across Kris and his company and the rest is history. Over the duration of our relationship, Kris met with us multiple times, gathered the requirements, made sure we were educated on life with his dogs, information to research, and always a text away. Additionally, he invited us out multiple times to see the dogs (both adult and puppies) to truly understand what it is like to be around high-drive. It has been roughly 3 weeks since we picked up our 8-week old puppies from the SSS litter and they exceed our expectations. If you are wondering if this breed is for you, talk to Kris. If you know this breed is for you, talk to Kris. Either way this should be the first and last stop if you want to enter the world of owning this breed. We won't go anywhere else.
From the first communication, Kris was warm, transparent and incredibly knowledgeable about German Shepherd working dogs. After bringing our puppy home, Kris continually stays in touch and offers outstanding advice. I would recommend tailor-made working dogs to anyone looking to get a German Shepherd, working dog, it feels more like joining a family than just getting a dog.

My dog is from Taylor Made and has been trained through Taylor Made and is oftentimes boarded through Taylor Made. Kris and his team are top notch and can teach you a ton whether it be training, nutrition, etc. The training that I got from Kris and his team already saved my dog's life when he got charged by a moose on the flathead river in Montana. His recall was perfected to the point that he came right to me without hesitation when the cow moose was coming at him protecting her calf and no doubt thinking my German Shepherd was a wolf. Anyway, I trust Kris and his team at Taylor Made to take care of my pup whenever I've got a long trip or if we just need to dial things back in on protection or obedience training.
