Tazmanian K-9 Training

We have had an AMAZING experience with Tevin for both training and boarding! We initially worked with him for training our 1-year-old Golden Retriever, who had zero confidence when we got him. He had been kept in a pen for the first six months of his life and wasn’t introduced to much of anything, so the world was overwhelming for him. Tevin was absolutely incredible in helping build his confidence. The transformation we’ve seen has been nothing short of amazing. He took the time to understand him, worked at his pace, and truly set him up for success. Separately, all three of our dogs — my dominant 5-year-old female Pyrenees (80 lbs), my submissive 9-year-old female beagle (35 lbs), and our Golden Retriever — have boarded with Tevin twice. Each stay has been a great experience. Managing three very different personalities isn’t easy, but Tevin handles them with confidence and care. Communication has always been wonderful, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. We always feel comfortable and confident leaving our dogs with him. We highly recommend Tevin for both training and boarding — we will absolutely continue using him!

Tevin trained all 4 of my dogs, I have 2 pitbulls and 2 xl American bully’s. After only 8 weeks we had amazing results with obedience and leash training, before it was a nightmare trying to walk them, I’m now able to walk all 4 of them together with them being well behaved. He really knows his stuff and I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a dog trainer. And will also be bringing back 2 of my dogs to do some more extensive training.

After an unplanned 4 legged addition to our family - I was on the hunt for a trainer. Within seconds of visiting the Tazmanian K-9 website I received a call from Tevin - i explained to him my situation and the kind of guidance and training we were looking for and he was quick to come up with a plan ! I wanted to be very hands on , so I ended up doing private lessons so that I could be trained along with my pup and I could continue working on everything on my own time as well! Tevin was clearly a professional - within a week i could tell my dog had developed a respect for me all because I followed Tevins directions. So much so - that by the end of our 6 week of lessons my pup had PASSED his canine good citizen test! I will absolutely be returning to Tazmanian K9 to continue training as my dog grows and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a very professional (and well priced) trainer for their 4 legged family member!!!

🐾 Amazing Transformation! 🐾 I am beyond thrilled with the results from Tevyn at Tazmanian K9! My German Shepherd, Axel, used to be very reactive and would pull like crazy during walks, which made our outings quite challenging. However, after completing the board and train program, Axel has completely turned around! Tevyn provided exceptional training and really connected with Axel. Now, he is calm, well-mannered, and even off-leash trained! Our walks are now a pleasure—the difference is night and day. Tevyn also took the time to equip me with the right techniques and insights to continue Axel’s training at home.
