The good reviews and high stars is decieving. Lady on the phone made me uncomfortable had absolutely no customer service skills at all. Refused to give me any information without a consultation that they said they will not even do unless my fiance and I are both present. I explained that due to the type of work we do it's hard for both of us to be present at the same time unless it's the weekend. The lady told me that the "Professional" will not speak to me 1 on 1. That was good enough for me.
Had an amazing experience with Team Sam Ivy, our trainer Alysia was super easy to work with and we always looked forward to dog training. She was also super knowledgeable and knew what things would work and wouldn’t. We would definitely recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who is looking for professional dog training.

We enrolled our dog for training because he was very aggressive towards all the dogs, and sometimes people, we encountered during our walks. It didn't matter the size or if the dog was ignoring him. It was getting out of hand. He was miserable and we also felt hopeless. When we talked to Jennifer, she reassure us, and told us there was a way, using the collars they provided. At the beginning we were a little sceptical because we didn't want our dog being hurt, but we found that out stubborn dog learned in the second outing that it was not a good idea to attack strangers on our walks, and he kept from lunging at them. It basically stopped the behavior almost immediately. Something great too is that the offered their support after we were done with the training, and this gives us piece of mind.

We came to SamIvy hoping to gain tools and tips to manage some of our golden retriever puppy’s less-than-desirable behaviors. Duke (our puppy) had no concept of boundaries, and as we worked with SamIvy, we realized he had very little respect for our authority as “mom and dad.” Thanks to the training tools and sessions through SamIvy, we’ve noticed a considerable difference in our little guy! He’s much more disciplined, the behaviors we were struggling with — jumping, incessant barking, destructive chewing, poor leash manners — have reduced significantly, and he now responds appropriately when we correct him. We were paired with a wonderful trainer/coach, Jennifer. Without her expertise, dedication, and care, Duke would not have made the progress he has. It takes dedication and commitment on all ends, but progress can/will be seen!
