I had searched for a good while for a trainer to send my buddy Ranger for his obedience training. I wanted someone who was trustworthy, dependable and who would set my pup up for success after talking with Brandon about his programs I was so ready to send my pup to him and I’m glad I did! The progress that Brandon made with him during his month board and train is amazing, not only is he very well trained and obedient now he also has so much more confidence. He really goes out of his way to train your dog. He does everything from basic obedience to training Police/Military K9's to Personal Protection Dogs. I have been working with him since October and he is very knowledgeable and professional. He not only trains the dog but also the handler. He's very detailed and dedicated to his work. From the moment I met Brandon of TK9 Solutions, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had regarding dog handlers and training. As a former Marine Scout Sniper and Private Contractor, I have worked with many dogs and their handlers; from Special Forces to Police, Combat working dogs to Family pets, Brandon absolutely stands above the rest and is one of the best Trainer/Handler I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. His passion for his craft, love and care for the dogs, his demeanor and methodologies in training and routine, produces a quality product that is unseen outside of Special Forces K9’s, to get this level of service for your personal Dog is beyond valuable. The level of obedience, behavior, demeanor, and temperament of the dogs is second to none. He is able to work and train each dog individually to that dogs level and personality, treating each dog differently. By working with the individual strengths and weaknesses of each dog, he is able to produce a confident well rounded and disciplined dog without losing the dogs personality and individual character, keeping the dog filled with life. The past few days have been amazing sense picking my 6 month old puppy Wes up from boarding. My German Shepard now has an overall more calm and disciplined demeanor both out in public and around the house which has made life so much more pleasant as I often felt resentful towards him for his unruly behavior. I knew that I must get help before he got too much bigger as I have small children and another on the way. There were some benefits of training that I didn't anticipate such as being able to move Wes' crate to the kitchen where he now sleeps quietly and no longer cries (I assume this is due to him being boarded for a month at TX K9 Solutions and learning that he’s okay), not jumping on people, having potty accidents in the house or nipping, he constantly looks to me for direction and I feel like we're in synch versus a constant battle over bad manners. Brandon's training created a real life atmosphere by including his own family in my puppy's training and taking Wes out on field trips which is not something that I saw other trainers do. Brandon treated my dog kindly, kept him in top health, sent me regular updates, was available to answer my many questions and was extremely professional the entire time. On the day of pick up, Brandon had a one on one session with me to teach me how to use all the commands which I've been successful at doing. Oh, and I must not forget to mention that his training facility is large, clean and located on a property with tons of outdoor space for the dogs. I look forward to sending Wes back for more advanced training as well as protection training when he is older and more mature. It's so much fun having such a well trained dog!
