That's My Dog!

If you are looking for the best dog training business in the Tri-State area, That's My Dog is your place. We started at That's My Dog (TMD) with our 1-year old goldendoodle and their SuperDog program. The results were incredible and we wish we had started sooner! In five sessions (and plenty of practice in between) our dog was forever changed for the better. He is very well behaved and I do not hesitate to have him off leash in our neighborhood since I know he is so well trained and obedient now. All nuisance activity (barking, stealing shoes, jumping) immediately stopped, and not necessarily because we addressed each activity, but because he now understands how to be a good dog ALL of the time. One of the best aspects of TMD is that they offer training for the lifetime of your dog in addition to the initial training. Since the initial training we have take the Tricks 1, Tricks 2, and Trained Retrieve class at TMD. These classes are a ton of fun and you and your dog get so much enjoyment out of it. The trained retrieve was particularly impressive. In a three day weekend our dog was able to perform a directional retrieve. The tricks classes are a ton of fun to teach your dog new things and to keep things fresh. All of our friends are always impressed with his ability to speak, "fix his hair", wave hello, sit pretty, and high five among others. Robin, Kelly, and the staff at TMD are truly exceptional. Their knowledge and willingness to answer questions and help with your dog are second to none. I recommend That's My Dog to any dog owner out there looking for exceptional results.

When my husband and I decided to get a puppy (my first, his second) back in September, we thought we were prepared. We read up on raising a puppy and bought all the right things, but we quickly realized that having a puppy in the house can be VERY stressful and frustrating. We had heard great things about That's My Dog! and decided to check them out by enrolling in Puppy Preschool. Robin gave us so many useful tips and pieces of information that we felt much more comfortable with our puppy, plus we got a jump start on basic obedience and our puppy got to socialize with other puppies. We quickly realized that That's My Dog! is an absolute gem and signed our puppy up for 2 weeks of Learn and Play. Never in our wildest dreams could we have expected to get so much our of the Learn and Play program. Our 5.5 month old puppy is so well mannered and an absolute joy to have in our home and we have a much better understanding of why she does what she does. We are so proud to say "That's My Dog!" when we receive complements on her behavior and look forward to working with all of the amazing staff at That's My Dog! in the years to come, whether it be for Doggie Daycare, Polishing Classes, or other classes they offer.

I would not have chosen a better place to take my challenged dog. Even after going through twelve weeks of training prior to this (and not learning a thing,) within two weeks Blu was a different dog! Before the training, he was pulling on the leash, not coming when called, and had just a rotten attitude. After, he is now heeling by my side, we can go on walks with the leash hanging down, and he is coming right away when called. I could not be more happy with the trainers at That's My Dog! He is also so energetic and happy to go to daycare, just an overall improvement in his attitude and behavioral issues! Also, the staff at daycare is so wonderful, as in they know who I am and who my dog is, just after a few days, when there are plenty of people who walk in and out. That's My Dog is wonderful! I love their training programs, Doggie Day Care, and their boarding program. Our dog went through their training program and what a difference it made!. After the training, she listened to us, came to us when we called, went in her kennel whenever we asked, and was so well-behaved. When a problem came up a few weeks after her training, Robin met with us and worked with her again. That's My Dog seems to always be there to help you succeed. You don't just go through the training and then you're done. They're there to support you and your dog for continued success. The polishing classes are such a help after the training too. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and they all seem to have such great instincts when it comes to dog behavior. Our dog always had a blast at Doggie Day Care and was always happy when our car pulled into their parking lot. I love all the pictures they post during the day. You can see the dogs are having fun. We boarded her twice, for about a week each time, and were very happy with that. The dogs get out pretty often and get to play with each other and the other dogs that are there for daycare. I can't say enough good things about That's My Dog. The people that work there are great and their programs really work. I wouldn't even think about getting another dog in the future without making them part of the whole process.
