The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training (formerly Taming the Wild)

Our 3 year old blue heeler just finished the 2 week board and train program and I cannot sing their praises enough. Bryan’s knowledge and experience is unmatched, and the staff are incredible. I was honestly a little skeptical whether or not they’d be able to reign in our energetic cattle dog but boy did they. She’s such a pleasure to be around now and is following commands at home beautifully. We got daily updates/pictures/videos of our pup and were amazed each day at her progress. Highly highly recommend Brian and his team.

Five stars isn’t enough! Winston went a goob and returned a gentleman! The training I received set us up for success at home! There was no question after our turnover lesson that I had made the best decision for us by doing the enhanced board and train! My only regret is not sending him sooner. Our life at home together has become such a breeze! Our walks are truly enjoyable now. There is no longer a tornado rampaging through the house. I’ve been given to tools to help him thrive and not lose my mind! Everyone on staff is always so friendly and helpful! All of the trainers are highly knowledgeable and it’s so easy to see they are passionate in what they do. If you’re thinking about sending your pup to Brain and his team, DO IT. It is truly one of the best decisions you can make for yourself and your pup(s)!

My husband and I brought Ozzy, our 60 pound mini golden-doodle, to Bryan four weeks ago. I was a bit apprehensive about leaving him for three weeks but the center was spotless, the staff knowledgeable and kind and Ozzy, who is not good with strangers went with Madi, wagging his tail happily. We were sent pictures and videos every day to show what Ozzy was learning, and it was easy to see that he was being taken good care of and he was happy. After three weeks of training with Bryan, Madi and Gav Ozzy is a different dog. He waits to be invited through doors, walks without pulling, leaves the cat alone, and “goes to place” or stay (most of the time) until released. Thank you, Bryan and crew for turning our strong willed dog into a calm, sweet, well behaved companion. I look forward to the Saturday refresher classes to learn even more. I would recommend The Canine Training and Behavior Academy to everyone.
