FirstBarkSent my dog for the two week board and train, and his progress is incredible. All of the staff are very supportive and helpful and have constantly sent me videos and texts updating me on Bleu’s progress. I would recommend them to anyone, and do this process over again 100 times.

What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?
We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?
Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?
Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. Handoff with Nick gave us the confidence to carry on with Phin’s journey back at home. The investment each of the trainers instilled is very clearly represented in Phin’s reliability. We recently had our pup attend the Academy for Enhanced Board and Train. The investment in his training was worth every penny. We have experience with our older dog being trained with Bryan and knew the foundation he built at his Tupelo facility would be worth our commute from Memphis to ensure the best for our dog. Your process starts with education so you can prepare for the experience ahead of drop off and there is access to training materials along the way as your pup is learning through the program. We were kept well informed through daily updates to include explanations and videos and photos of our dog learning. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending the Academy for Canine Behavior and Training. I have to call out Nick who was the trainer who worked with our dog. Nick is very thorough in his training approach as well as providing detailed communication along the way. Our hand off appt was informative and he was patient with us (since we, the human parents, needed to be trained as well). I feel like we made an investment that will pay dividends for our family and our dog who has come home immediately with skills that we can build on. Thank you for all you do!
Nick exceeded our expectations with our inherited dog, Jack. He was 5 years old and we were skeptical if we could change some very bad behaviors but WOW! We went from a family that did not enjoy our dog to quite the opposite. We always loved our dog but now we like him too!!! We are so thankful! Highly recommend!
The updates helped so much it eased the is she ok fears and the how is she doing with the trainer and the environment. I learned a lot with the portal on behaviors of dogs and why dogs do what they do . I really appreciate the time and efforts they put into this you can see they really love what they do and they love your babies as well . Thank you
