The Ace Dog Trainer

We adopted a 4/5 yo lab rescue in April with some socialization problems. He understood basic commands, and able to walk on a leash, but always ahead of me and always a problem when he encountered other dogs. He was never aggressive and tried to attack, but growling and definitely an alpha male. We were ready to give up on him. After just a few sessions, his behavior has completely changed, and he looks to me for direction. We can walk quietly past other dogs without problems. I have learned how to redirect him, without the use of treats, or punishment, and he now trusts me. Debra's training is different and helps you to better understand your dog, what their needs are, and how to develop a truly amazing relationship with them. I am so grateful we had the opportunity to work with her and highly recommend her.

We pulled in with two hyperactive, misdirected puppies and left with companions for the first time. Within a few short minutes Debra had them focused yet relaxed. This behavior carried over when she transitioned them to us during our first session. Looking forward to a couple more sessions to learn and polish the new relationship we have with our dogdaughter's both with Debra and at home. Thank you for your care and expertise! Super professional, friendly and welcoming! Excellent dog whisperer and person! Omg first walk...both did great exiting and entering the house. They both did great on the walk. I saw a bird land on the ground that started chirping so I figured it would be a good test. Aryss tried to lightly launch the first time but the next three or four passes past the bird she controlled herself on the slack leash! Any time I slowed or changed direction she adjusted. Previously this would have never happened. 1st enjoyable walk EVER. My arm stayed intact and the bird was left to chirp peacefully.
