The Art of Dog

I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am for Dave, Meg, Liz and the rest of the team for this program!! I sent my 2 yr old Border Collie Gus to the 4 week board and train program for behavorial issues and leash agression. The difference is day and night. Today, I was able to take Gus on a walk where other people and animals were present. What used to be my worst nightmare is now so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Dave and his staff! Thank you x a million!!!!!

Hi, my name is Cheryl C. and I stumbled across the Art of Dog when looking for a boarding/training center for my hyper, easily over stimulated young Golden Retriever Bianca. She had no recall, jumped on you all the time, talked back, and did whatever she wanted. Through training and a refresher class Bianca has become the sweetest girl ever!!! She loves to learn and is so eager to make us happy.........she comes when called and know when she does bad. She goes back to see the trainers for visits and boarding. When we pull up she barks like crazy because she knows she is going to hang with her friends! I cannot explain the appreciation we have for Dave and his staff. Not only for changing her life, but ours as well.............do not hesitate to give these guys a call. It is so worth the time and money. Thank you Dave! We appreciate you all.

I sent my boy Simba to Art of Dog for a 4 week board and train. He is a great dog, but we were having serious issues with severe reactivity, lack of confidence/intimidated, and aggression. What will happen if you choose to utilize Dave and his staff is they will train your dog and equip you with the tools and expertise to bring your dog home and continue the training once they are back in your environment. We are having great success with Simba at home (expect your dog to test you once home!) but we have the knowledge we need to help him practice his skills and continue his learning! Ashely and Dave have been extremely responsive whenever I have had a question after his return home and also while he was at the facility. A huge bonus is the lifelong lessons after the board and train so if a problem arises or even a new issue, they are there to help the dog but even more importantly, give you additional skills to improve your learning as well! Simba is working hard on being the best boy he can be and we are grateful for the support and expertise from Dave and his staff.

Dave and his team are great. We sent both of our reactive (for different reasons) dogs to board and train last summer. They both came home with helpful tools, discipline, and more confidence. The follow up lessons are amazing and the trainers are always so happy and eager to help us where we fall short (shoutout Marissa!). We also now have a reliable team of people to leave our dogs with for boarding when we are away. Couldn’t recommend The Art of Dog more!! It’s worth the investment!
